Story
Lucy is a 3 year old rat terrier that we rescued as a puppy. Lucy is a very sweet and loving girl. She loved cuddles and play time! In July 2023, she unfortunately slipped out of my screen door and injured a dog that was in our front yard. I believe it was a territorial response. However, with a new baby at home I unfortunately do not have the time to give her the training and attention that she needs. I love Lucy and recognize that this environment is not the best place for her to thrive at this point. She is a lovable girl who will make a family very happy!

Story
Meet Dodger -- an adorable silver/grey tri-colored rat terrier mix puppy boy born May 17th in New Rattitude foster care.  Dodger and his brother are typical playful pups.  Dodger is the larger pup and is generally a cuddle bug.  He would be very happy to be held and cuddled all day.  However he is equally happy to play with his brother and the other foster dogs in the house, though he tends to be a bit timid.  Dodger is doing pretty well with piddle pad training and outdoor potty time, but like any young small pup he does have frequent accidents when he gets distracted (by practically anything).   Typical of any young pup, Dodger is enthusiastically learning about stairs, what is an acceptable chew toy, playing with other dogs and cats, and living with humans. His newest challenge is learning NOT to chew charging cords which for some reason fascinate him.  He is currently 6 lbs. with an expected adult weight of around 15lbs. Dodger would be a great addition to a patient household or family that is very tuned in to his tiny self.  He has not yet learned to walk on a leash and would love to have a secure yard to run around in.  Being so tiny, he needs constant supervision to make sure he stays safe so his humans must be able to provide him with a lot of attention and training.  More photos of Dodger can be seen here:  https://imageevent.com/newrattitude/dodger Our adoption fee is $200 for adult dogs or $250 for puppies under 6 months old. Story
Say hi to Fagin -- this adorable silver/grey tri-colored rat terrier mix puppy boy was born May 17th in New Rattitude foster care.  Fagin and his brother are typical playful pups.  Fagin is the smaller pup now but is the larger pup in spirit and adventure.  He is always first to investigate everything and first to climb into fun places.  Fagin is full of terrier attitude – he plays hard and loves to play tug, chase and wrestle games.  Although he is only 5lbs we are pretty sure Fagin he thinks he is the size of a Great Dane.  Fagin is great about piddle pad training and outdoor potty time, but like any young small pup he does have accidents when he gets distracted (by practically anything).  He is enthusiastically learning about stairs, what is an acceptable chew toy, playing with other dogs and cats, and living with humans. His newest challenge is learning NOT to teethe on human hands and clothing but instead to keep those puppy teeth on puppy toys. We expect Fagin will probably be about 15lbs or maybe a little less when fully grown. Fagin should have a household that loves a busy terrier and is good about training and keeping them out of trouble.  He has not yet learned to walk on a leash and would love to have a secure yard to run around in.  Being so tiny, he needs constant supervision to make sure he stays safe so his humans must be able to provide him with a lot of attention and training. More photos of Fagin can be seen here:  https://imageevent.com/newrattitude/fagin .Our adoption fee is $200 for adult dogs or $250 for puppies under 6 months old.
