Story
Millie (born around May of 2022) is a friendly, energetic rat terrier mix who was found as a stray after wandering a community neighborhood for a few weeks. She came to Safe Haven the day after giving birth to four beautiful baby girls. She was a wonderful mama to her babies, and she is now a little social butterfly who loves everyone at first sight! She is affectionate and cuddly, and loves nothing more than being with her human friends. Millie is hoping for a loving forever family who likes to cuddle on the couch and give lots and lots of belly rubs and kisses.

Not good with dogs, House-trained,
Story
Rustyn was adopted from a foster home in November of 2020. He was a home with many big dogs and did just great, although he was very timid. He was brought to a shelter earlier that year when a hoarding situation was discovered. He came to live with my chihuahuas and since, I have discovered he is not of the right temperament to be with smaller dogs. He is approximately 9 lbs., so he is small too. He does have some minor resource guarding tendencies. Primarily, he can have jealousy over his selected human, but it is not consistent with his tell-offs or when he is triggered. He would do great as an only dog with someone that can let him explore the yard or take him on adventurous walks. He is a big cuddler who loves to sleep under the covers in his human's bed. Everyone that has met him thinks he is just wonderful! He has done well with teenagers, adults and seniors. I have not seen him around younger children or cats. He is a terrier, so he can become focused, but he is not barky.
