Meet Indy! 👋 He is a 5 year old rat terrier mix male who weighs about 20 lbs! He is looking for his forever home 🏠 Could that be yours?? Indy is a playful little guy - tug of war and fetch are his favorites! He is great on the leash and enjoys a nice stroll outside! ☀️ His ideal home would have an outdoor fence so he can do his adorable zoomies! Indy is fully potty trained and an angel in his crate 😇 Indy has chronic kidney disease, but you wouldn't know it from his playful nature! 🥰 Maintenance will include prescription dog food and increased fluid consumption. He also recently had a dental cleaning and did well with that! 😉 Indy would be best as the only dog in his future home. He gets along with other pups, but doesn’t like to share his food or toys! 🦴 And kids in his future home should be 13 years or older. Let’s give Indy the wonderful home he deserves - apply to meet this cutie today!! 🐾

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please meet Sally!  Sally came to us from Texas with her pups - saved from ending up in a shelter!  Sally is about 2 years old and weighs 14 pounds.  We think she is a Rat Terrier/JRT mix.   This sweet girl is truly a gem! She’s such a loving mama and takes amazing care of her puppies. Sally has a gentle but firm approach and absolutely loves to play with them. She’s also great with other dogs, enjoying playtime and cozy snuggles together!   In her foster home, Sally hasn’t shown much interest in the cats, but that’s probably because they like to keep to themselves. She’s getting the hang of Buffalo’s weather – she’s willing to go outside when it’s nice, though she could use a little nudging to step out into the snow and chill. But hey, who can blame her? On the bright side, she's been using pee pads pretty consistently!   We’ve started leash training with her, and we’re confident that she’ll pick it up with a bit more practice. Sally does well in a crate and has had good experiences living with young kids, so she’s definitely family-friendly!    This playful pup adores her toys and chewies, and treats are her absolute favorite, especially cheese—who can resist that? Sally is such a wonderful girl, and she’s sure to be an amazing companion! Sally is spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.  Her adoption fee is $475Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 28, 2025, 1:44 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Lottie! She is one of Sally's puppies, rescued from the streets of Texas when she was only a day or two old. We believe that Sally is a mix of Rat Terrier and Jack Russell Terrier, but we don't know who the father is. The puppies are currently of various sizes, and we estimate that Lottie will weigh between 15 and 20 pounds when she is fully grown. This pup is quite the character! She is fearless and full of puppy energy. Playful and affectionate, she gets along well with other dogs and would enjoy having a companion in her home, although it's not a requirement. Lottie loves people and would be just as happy being the center of attention. Active and adventurous, she would thrive in a family that includes her in all their activities. Lottie’s tail is always wagging! Every puppy is a little blank slate just waiting for some love and training to help them become amazing dogs! They’re bursting with energy and always up to some fun antics that will keep you smiling. These smart and funny little furballs are eager to please and would make the perfect companion for anyone looking for a friend to brighten their days. If you’re in search of a playful buddy to keep you on your toes, these pups might just be your ideal match! The puppies are current on their age-appropriate vaccinations, have been dewormed, and are microchipped. The male puppies are scheduled for neutering on February 14th, while the females will be spayed on February 26th at Operation Pets. It is the adopter's responsibility to take them to their appointments. The cost of the spay/neuter procedure is included in the adoption fee and will be fully explained in our contract.  The adoption fee is $450Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 31, 2025, 7:26 am

We believe that Sally is a mix of Rat Terrier and Jack Russell Terrier, but we don't know the identity of the father. The puppies are currently of various sizes. Ranger weighs a whopping 16 pounds right now, so he is likely going to be a larger breed dog, potentially weighing 50 pounds or more when fully grown—but who knows? We just want you to be prepared!  Ranger is a handsome boy who definitely catches your eye with his tri-color coat and freckled legs. His nubby little tail is incredibly cute. While he can be more reserved compared to his boisterous siblings and foster friends vying for attention, he still jumps in to give kisses and licks! Ranger is very playful with other dogs and knows how to be gentle as well. He is ready to shine in his forever home and is sure to become an amazing dog in no time!
