Story
This is honestly the hardest thing I have ever did. I rescued Rockwell almost two years ago. He was 7 weeks, and the most beautiful dog I’ve ever seen. I successfully house trained him, he’s up to date on shots, and has a banfield wellness plan. I’m having to rehome him because I have another dog whom I’vehad for 12 years and after almost two years he’s having a hard time with Rocky. I also work a lot, so I want Rocky to have a home where he is loved, and have someone to spend all the time in the world with him. He know how to sit for treats, and love cuddles. He’s very energetic, and if given the chance will escape a gate to run free, but he always comes back lol. He’s not a picky eater, he’s literally eats everything. He will come with clothes, food, a medium cage, a large kennel, chew toys, blankets, and a million other things I’ve purchased for him. Rockwell is loved, so I will carefully choose who his new parent will be.

Story
,Hi! I'm Pookie, or Pooks for short. Sometimes my foster mom also calls me Pookus but I am not sure why. I lost my family and home after my family was evicted in May 2024. I was very sad and confused and still don't understand where my people are. I am getting pretty old and get confused sometimes, but I'm trying hard to adapt. I don't see or hear too well but my foster mom helps me get around. Since I can't hear, I'm a deep sleeper. My most favorite thing to do is eat. I love breakfast and dinner time. It's usually when I perk up the most. I don't mind new people or other dogs and appreciate having some space as I don't get around so fast anymore. I am a very quiet girl and never bark. If you take me outside regularly, I'll go potty outside. My foster mom has been keeping me on a good schedule and I've been doing such a good job. Occasionally I might still have an accident, but I try my hardest to do it on the potty pad. Most people who meet me laugh at my snaggle tooth because it's pretty cute. I really would like to spend my retirement with someone with a slower paced life who can help me find some comfort in my old age. If there's anyone looking to open their heart to helping a senior dog, I'm your girl!My adoption fee of $300 includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for?If you'd like to meet me, please fill out an application on our website, PawmettoLifeline.org.
