Story
Meet Thelma 7033 Thelma’s quiet demeanor and mellow and civilized attentiveness will instantly awaken your feelings of a cheerful friendship. Her happy, joyful smiles will quickly open your heart as she asks for a kind, loving caress as she walks attentively by your side. It took a couple of minutes for Thelma to be comfortable in the wide expanse of the bark park but then she decided to spend most of her time close the human. She has had seven years of life experience which has taught her to appreciate every moment of shared affection. Thelma would be a perfect companion for a human who is looking for a “just wants to be close” forever friend. She also enjoyed sharing the bark park adventure with her longtime friend Louise.

Story
Bark Wahlberg aka Crusher's DOB is 11/25/2019. He is a brown and white Redbone Coonhound/Cattle Dog. Crusher is a really handsome dog who was adopted as a cute little puppy back in 2019, but was returned recently for some bad habits that he picked up in his previous home. He's definitely a lot bigger than he was the last time he was here, and we suspect that his previous home was not able to provide the firm guidance and training necessary to help Crusher be the amazing pet we know he can be. From what we can tell at the Haven, Crusher would make an extremely loyal pet, but he takes quite a while and some coaxing to get used to new people. If you pet him before he really gets to know you, he gets pretty scared and has even snapped (albeit with soft warning bites and a big scary bark) at people who move too quickly with him. Luckily, Crusher's issues are totally fixable with a human who can be a strong leader in his life, and we know that for an experienced owner, he'll be an absolute breeze! DOB 11-25-19 All of our pets are fixed, up to date on their vaccinations, and microchipped. The Haven of the Ozarks is open form 9am-4pm, seven days a week. Story
Hi, I'm Gizmo! I'm a super dog. Once, I lived a normal life, but then I discovered my superpower: boundless energy! I could play all day, never tiring. One day, I was playing and accidentally zoomed into a truck bound for this place called 'Shelter'. I thought it was a secret superhero base! It's fun here, but I miss having a family. I'm a bit shy, but I promise to make you laugh with my goofiness. I'm also a good listener. I'd love to be your sidekick. Let's create our own superhero story together!

Story
I found Winnie and her brother and sister almost 10months ago all skin and bones, abandoned in the road. I was able to find an adopter for the other two and but Winnie still needs a home. I have two dogs of my own and can’t keep her, otherwise I would. She is an amazing dog and a big time cuddler. She is kennel trained and is teething so I can’t leave her out like I do my other dogs when I’m at work and it’s not fair the amount of time she is spending in the kennel. She does not chew when we are home. She would make a great addition to any family. Come meet her 😁 she also has an appointment to be spayed March 26
