Story
Hi I'm Rip! I'm a BIG sweet dopey hound dog that needs a lot of Land to run on and to be able to be the natural protector guard dog that I am. Crate trained and socialized. Loves rides in the truck, going to dog park, doggie daycare, and overnights at the Ranch camp! However, I am timid around new people and new situations, and have leash anxiety/ aggression. I have extensive obedience training over last 6 months that has greatly helped me out a lot (!)- but I also need to be with someone who will continue to work with me on my training to help me be a more confident and obedient companion. I am very protective of my people and our home, and need to be in a place where I can be that guard dog, but also in a home where I get lots of the love and affection that I crave. My owner wants to make sure she finds me the right home that will be a the best fit for my needs!

This young boy is an 8 month old puppy, affectionate, effusive, and sometimes a little goofy, but he is a dog that has a lot of love to give, he has been spoiled and loved from the moment he was found, and he He is looking for a home where he will be given the same love. He plays with cats and dogs, and gets along well with children and adults. At first he may be a little shy, but he adapts very quickly. He loves walks, treats and chew toys. When he is angry, he wants to dominate other dogs, he is not aggressive, you just have to learn to understand him, greyhounds are a breed with a strong temperament and high energy, he needs to have discipline with them to keep his personality controlled. The $350.00 adoption fee covers the following: Transport to San Diego, CA. Spay/Neuter. All vaccines up to date. Deworming (puppies 2 sets). Flea medication up to date. Tick control up to date.
