Story
Madison is a great dog, I was able to rescue her from a bad situation with two poor previous owners. I was told she is not a successful hunting dog and “her nose doesn’t work” Her nose works very well and she would be an excellent hunting dog. I’m afraid I can’t give her what she needs. I am not a hunter so I thought it would work out, I don’t mind the prey drive but I do have cats, one does look like a raccoon. It’s been about two months. No attacks but definite separation. She has a lot of energy and a beautiful voice. She is overly friendly with all dogs of different shapes and sizes, which can be intimidating at first but she loves to play. She has grown on me and this deeply saddens me, I do not think I am the right fit for her.
