Story
My adoption fee is $200 which covers my annual distemper booster, rabies, and being spayed/neutered and microchipped.  I love going on walks with my family. I would love a backyard so I can run around. I also love just being a couch potato curled up in someone’s lap or on my own just chilling watching a good show. I’m in a home with other dogs and do really well with them. I do have some food aggression, so I need to eat separate from everyone else. I have met a cat at my foster home, and I don’t really care about it. I seem to get along with anything & everything. But that doesn’t mean you can just throw me in, I should have slow, monitored introductions with people and animals. There are also kids of all ages in my home, and I do great with them. I am house and crate trained.August 20, 2024, 11:55 am

Story
Dory is a female hound mix estimated at 9 years young. An interesting combination of spunky and spacey, this gal doesn't let her age slow her down. She does well with other dogs & cats and tends to mesh well with anyone around her. Dory does just fine with all ages of kids in her space. She loves romping in the yard with her foster siblings and it would be ideal if she had a fenced in yard to be able to use her hound nose on a regular basis. Dory does love a neighborhood stroll though! When excited, she can be vocal, but at the end of the day- prefers a cozy home and bed to fall asleep on. Dory did test positive for heartworms and has begun treatment already!
