Story
Meet Frank, a handsome Redbone Hound mix with a heart full of love and a personality that’s both goofy and sweet! Frank was surrendered to the shelter along with his two sisters, who have already found their forever homes, and now it’s his turn to shine. Though Frank was once adopted, he sadly had to be returned because he didn’t get along with the toddler in the home. But that doesn’t mean Frank isn’t ready for the right family—he’s a wonderful dog who just needs the perfect environment to thrive. Frank is a friendly, easy-going dog who loves being around other dogs. He used to go to the dog park daily, so he’s well socialized and enjoys playing with his furry friends. He’s also friendly towards cats, showing no signs of aggression or fear, which makes him an ideal companion for a multi-pet household. He’s a quiet dog, never barking excessively, which makes for a pleasant addition to the home. While he’s still working on becoming fully housetrained, Frank has made great strides and is well on his way to being a house-perfect dog with a bit more practice. He used to whine at the door to go out, and did well when on a consistent schedule. Frank is a slow eater and has a very particular palate—he’s not a fan of salmon and rice, but give him a cheese cube, and he’s in heaven! He loves his treats and will happily work for a little snack. He’s also a fan of car rides, baths, and rolling around on the carpet, and showing his goofy, playful side in those moments. Whether he’s lounging in the sun, getting a good belly rub, or chasing after a toy, Frank is always up for some fun. If you’re looking for a friendly, playful, and loving companion who’s good with other dogs, cats, and enjoys a quiet, relaxed environment, Frank could be the perfect fit for you! He’s ready to find his forever home where he can be his goofy, sweet self and enjoy all the simple pleasures life has to offer. We believe Frank would do best in a home with children over the age of 10.
