Story
Maple is one of the sweetest and most intelligent dogs I have yet to encounter. She is a little slow to warm up at first, as it is clear she has been mistreated. Once she knows she can trust you though, she wants nothing more than to love and please! She is a very good listener. She is housebroken and follows commands. She is super playful and will fetch and retrieve. I have had her for a month, looking for a home for her. I found her running in the road. She is microchipped and her owners were found, however they did not want her back. I can’t imagine why! She is such a special girl. She will make the most loving, playful and loyal companion to someone or to a family. Since she has been with me she has been around other dogs and also cats. She hasn’t shown any aggression. She has wanted to be the top dog though. I feel she would do best in a home where she can shine as the only pet or another dog that will let her be front and center. She is hungry for attention and affection.
