Story
Reese's is a 2-year-old boy with a bit of a shy side-especially when meeting new people-but once he feels comfortable, his playful and loving nature shines through. He may need a little time to warm up, but once he does, he's an affectionate and fun companion who will quickly become your loyal friend. This independent pup has a big love for toys, especially tug-of-war, and he's always ready to play a game or two. He knows how to sit on command and enjoys being mentally engaged with interactive play. Reese's can be a little pushy at times, so he'd do best with an experienced owner who can give him the guidance and structure he needs to thrive. Reese's is a bit selective with his dog friends, and while he does well with some dogs, he may not be a good fit for a home with cats or young children. He's happiest in a calm environment where he can enjoy his toys, work on his training, and build a strong bond with his person. If you're looking for a dog who's independent, smart, and playful, and you have experience with shy or pushy pups, Reese's might be the perfect match. With patience and understanding, he'll reward you with love, loyalty, and plenty of fun times. Come meet Reese's today and see if you're the right person to help him grow into the best companion he can be!

Story
SMASHING to meet you. I am Nigel, a shy guy who has been busting out of my shell! I don`t think I had the best start in life, but I`ve been learning humans can kind and have come around SO much. While it may take me a few minutes to warm up, I`m very curious and eager to learn more about how the world works. I enjoy long walks and going on adventures, and my volunteer friends say I`m getting to be a delightful walking partner. Treats are the way to my heart, and I`m so food motivated you can probably teach me a perfect heel and all kinds of other stuff. I came in with another dog, and I cheered for her while she was being adopted. I wouldn`t mind sharing life with another pup friend, but I do know I`m not the biggest fan of kitties. With a little patience, a lot of biscuits, and a loving home, I know I`ll become the most adventurous, brave boy in all the land! Let`s meet!

Story
Beaumont is five years old and is completely deaf. He is one of the sweetest dogs we have ever met and only wants cuddles and love from you. He does very well on a leash and is crate trained (his crate can come with him). He also knows sign language for all basic commands. He is used to apartment living as well. While he doesn't anymore, he did suffer from separation anxiety when we first adopted him and takes Prozac daily. He could regress and may need some extra attention during this transition. He has a very high prey drive and cannot be near other small animals or cats. This is why we had to make the heartbreaking decision to rehome him as he is showing similar behavior towards our newborn. He would probably do best as a single dog but we do have two other dogs and he would be happy in a home with female dogs just not other male dogs. While he shouldn't be in a home with babies he has been around older children and absolutely loves them.
