Lucy is a 9 mo. old (11/23) puppy that needs a bigger owner than me. She is 35 lbs., 26" long from neck to tail, and 27" tall. I didn't know she was going to grow this big so fast. She needs a bigger owner that wants to play tug-a-war with her rope, and catch frisbees . She loves to run around the yard, and good at digging holes looking for moles. She spends most of the day outside, takes her afternoon nap indoors, and likes to sleep on the floor next to my bed at night. She's not trained yet to walk with a leash. We adopted Nugget and his sister when they were 6 weeks old (mother died during birth and puppies were surrendered). He is now 6 years old. As far as we know, both parents were Catahoula Leopard dogs. He is very energetic and needs lots of exercise. He is very protective and also very loving. He likes to cuddle. We are at a point where kids are very involved in sports and he probably does not get as much attention as he needs. We are also having difficulty as he is a reactive dog and we don't know how to handle him. He also has anxiety with storms, fireworks, etc that seems to be getting worse, not better, even with the help of medication. We are no longer the right fit and need to find someone who is better suited to take care of his needs. He is so special and would be a great dog for someone who knows how to train and handle all of his quirks.
