Story
Penny is a purebred Rhodesian ridgeback born in August of 2017 at a breeder in Elk City Kansas. We have had her since she was 11 weeks old and have been her only owners. Penny is an incredibly loyal dog who is protective of her family. She is not the only Rhodesian that we have and that has caused some problems. They are half sisters and Penny has struggled to get along with her older sister over the last year. Penny would be a perfect fit for a home that has large spaces to play and run around even though she enjoys lounging around on a cozy couch. It would be ideal for to be an only dog and not share space with other animals. An experienced owner is necessary for this breed as they can be notoriously stubborn and have an extreme prey drive for small critters. Ridgebacks are a low maintenance breed that does not require grooming but it helps to work their fur to reduce shedding.
