Poor Riley was living in a loving home all her life until her owner fell ill and was transferred into assisted living. Thank goodness for the kind neighbor that has been caring for her. Riley is 8 years old and does have a burn on her back she got from hiding under a car many years ago. They will soon be selling the home and Riley is in desperate need of a loving and safe new home. Her owner would love to know she is safe and taken care of. Although she is 8 she has plenty of life and still loves to play. Adoption fee is $100 she is fully vetted.

My next door neighbor was put in nursing care in early October and won't be returning to his house. Since then, I've been feeding his dog Riley, a Rhodesian Ridgeback, at his house here in North Las Vegas, NV. His children live out of state and "want that dog dealt with one way or the other" so they can deal with the house. At this point I'm trying to submit Riley everywhere in hopes someone on a wing and a prayer will find a connection. I found your organization online. It's tough. She's very sweet but old. I recently got her Rabies, Distemper / Parvo and Bordetella vaccines as well as a nail trim. The veterinarian, estimates she is older than her paperwork indicates, likely 9 or 10. Her eyes have some of that gray "rheumy" look as well as some arthritis in her hips likely exacerbated by being overweight. Again, she's very sweet, wags her tail a lot, loves to walk on leash and buries Milk Bones. I have all records paperwork as well as a collar Rabies tag.Thanks for reading this!

Meet the sweet Lovely! This beautiful 4.5-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback/Doberman mix is as affectionate as her name suggests. Lovely is very shy and nervous at first. While she can be a bit unsure around men, with patience and trust, she begins to warm up. Once she bonds with you, she’s the most devoted companion you could ask for. She’s housebroken, crate trained, and knows how to walk nicely on a leash without pulling. She has been working on other obedience skills, and she’s been doing great! If you prefer your pup to be kenneled when you leave or at bedtime, Lovely has that down—just say, “kennel up!” We’re not yet sure how she does with other dogs right now due to her shy and fearful nature, so a slow and proper introduction is recommended. This sweet girl just needs a patient and loving home to help her build her confidence. Lovely is ready to bring so much love and joy into someone’s life—maybe it’s yours!
