With tails wagging like banners on the battlefield, they'll embark on epic quests for treats and belly rubs, ensuring that the realm of your home is forever blessed with joy and wagging tails. Winter may be coming, but with these fluffy guardians by your side, you'll always be snug and safe in their furry embrace. We have fosters all over the Pacific Northwest allowing us to post in specific cities. Due to Covid 19 restrictions all Meet & Greets have been cancelled to keep everyone safe. Our adoptable pets are in Houston living with local foster families making the transition into your household a whole lot easier. Our application review takes about 10 days.  This adoption process will require 3 videos of (outside of your home, backyard, and inside of your home) since we are not able to conduct home checks at this time. We will be calling 2 references (Not related to you please). We will be contacting your veterinarian (We work with 1st time owners) to make sure you have vaccinated all your pets yearly, and that all have been spayed/neutered. Our transport company leaves Houston every 2 weeks for Oregon, Idaho, Washington, East coast, Colorado & Canada. Do you have a little extra time on your hands, and looking for a dog that needs a little extra guidance to become the best companion? Dobby is a nervous, around 3-year-old black mouth cur mix boy looking for a calm and patient family to be his forever home. Dobby is a boy who doesn't have a whole lot of confidence, so is looking for his humans to be able to guide him and help him blossom. Once he has gotten comfortable with his new humans, he would benefit hugely by attended a formal class to help build his confidence while also learning some basic skills. And maybe a trick or two, too! Dobby is looking for a home with a secure fenced yard, so he has a safe contained space to go outside while he adjusts to his new life. He is getting better about being on leash but is still very flighty and will bolt when started. He also may enjoy having a confident and easy-going dog friend to learn from and grow with. Once you've proven to be friend material, Dobby really enjoys scooting in ALMOST in your lap for some pets and butt scratches. He also has taken a liking to jerky type treats, which will help a lot when it comes to future training. When it comes to children, as far as we know Dobby has never been around kids. So would do best with dog savvy and respectful kids ages 10+, who will be able to understand his nervous nature and need for a little extra space.
