Godiva is a an absolutely gorgeous Rhodesian Ridgeback mix who came to ARF from Texas with the help of our partner X-port Paws and support from The Irving and Phyllis Millstein Foundation for Animal Welfare. ARF staff quickly fell in love with her sweet and calm demeanor. Godiva would love nothing more than her very own home. She loves attention and will paw at you for more pets! Sometimes she thinks she's a lap dog and may try to lay in your lap. This sweet girl can be selective with her canine friends, so a thorough meet and greet with any potential siblings is a must. She may be a bit reserved at first but will blossom into a beautiful, loving and faithful companion.

Story
Great dog just need a new home. He would really benefit from a single owner who can take him for long walks. Very loving but he has a habit of chasing our kids and knocking them over and this has been an issue so a house without young children would be better. He is not an aggressive or mean dog just has the natural instinct to want to run and catch things that are running. He really needs a person who will walk him daily and take him down trails and hikes.
