She is a little shy first but then warms up quickly, she is house and crate trained but will need more positive reinforcement. She does get along with other dogs and walks well on a leash. She is spayed, current on vaccinations, dewormed, and microchipped. She has a clean bill of health. The adoption fee is $245 and she comes with all her vet records. Silver has been overlooked time and time again.. simply because he’s a little slow to warm up to new people. And truth be told, he doesn’t thrive in the shelter environment. But can you blame him? He was initially found on the streets as a very young pup—emaciated and scared. After entering the shelter`s care, Silver was taken in by a family he thought would be his forever. Unfortunately, they returned him when they moved to a place that didn’t allow dogs. Heartbroken, Silver found himself back in the shelter, where the stress of the kennel caused him to spiral. He was even placed on the euthanasia list. Thankfully, the shelter staff recognized his potential and worked tirelessly to find him a foster home where he could relax and finally show his true colors. In his foster home, Silver blossomed. He`s proven to be the sweet, loving dog everyone always knew he could be. With a little patience and the right environment, Silver will become the best dog you`ve ever had! He’s energetic and loves to run and play, but just as much, he enjoys curling up on the couch with his person, soaking in affection and companionship.Silver is friendly with every dog he meets, and although he’s still learning how to interact with cats, he’s already making great progress. He can sometimes mistake them for fellow playmates, but he listens and adjusts when they let him know how to behave.
