Good Afternoon! I'm Reta and I am counting my lucky stars, because I was rescued by one of the kind deputies of Animal Control! Me and my friend Lita have spent our entire lives in the backyard of our owners. We could sometimes take a "peek" in the door but mostly it was in the grass and dirt, rain or shine, and hot or cold! Well anyway our owners lost their home. So one day they loaded up everything in the house and drove away. We knew they weren't coming back, because there was nothing left. Who was going to feed us? What if something happened and we needed help? Fortunately someone alerted Animal Control and they came to pick us up. We were dirty, covered in fleas, very hungry, and of course we were heartworm positive! AS it turns out the shelter was in some dire straights just like us! They had very little room to house any dogs picked up by AC. Fortunately a private facility has opened some kennels for us to rest and recover. If you would like to meet me and hopefully adopt me, please fill out the adoption application and send it in online. Someone will contact you to set up a time to meet me. Before I can go home with you the shelter will give me all of my vaccinations, give me a microchip, and of course have me spayed. They will also make arrangements for my heartworm treatment. I am about four years old. I sure would love to spend the rest of my life with you! Please take the time to find out about me and Lita. Hey! Big Shout Out to the private facility that is helping the shelter save more lives!! If Rita and I get adopted two other dogs can take out place and look for a home!!

Hi there! My name is Cody! As you can see in my picture I am a very handsome Rottweiler mix. I was found by a kind stranger who saw me running across a road near downtown and the interstate late at night. Yikes! She stopped her car and kept me overnight so I would be safe. She brought me to the shelter to wait for my owner, but no one ever claimed me. Now I am ready to meet some new families. I am a little over a year old. I have all of my vaccinations, I am heartworm negative, I have a microchip, and I have been neutered. I am a very sweet boy. I won the hearts of everyone that works here! Come meet me and I bet I will win your heart too! FYI.....I have already been on one field trip and they said I was super-super with adults and kids!!
