Zona is an energetic dog. She spends her time between our homes in AZ and DE. We have grandkids on east coast and their families are not comfortable with Zona and their kids. She is a wonderful dog but needs to run and play daily. She is affection and inquisitive. She senses other people’s apprehension around her and reacts with some trepidation. She just loves physical play but can be intimidating to those not familiar with the breed. I need to rehome her or will not be able to spend time with my grandkids. Zona is currently in Delaware.

Meet Goober!Goober came to PACC originally as a bottle puppy without a mother, last year. He stayed in foster care until he was old enough for adoptions and then found a home!This sweet boy was unfortunately returned to PACC for being too puppy with his previous owners. He is a big boy and can get excited/jumpy and needs an adopter willing to work with that. His previous owners loved him and state `He is good with kids, would probably be better with kids older than 5. He gets excited but would never harm anyone. He is great with other dogs! We have another smaller older dog and he played well with that dog. He is a little timid and anxious but when you show him love all that goes away.He has allergies to chicken that causes rashes. Zeus is a handsome, friendly senior gentleman who came to the shelter after he and his friend Zia were abandoned. Zeus is the more confident of the two, and Zia takes comfort from her friend. Here’s what one volunteer said:“These sweet seniors are a little bit shy but definitely warm up with kind and gentle interaction. Both are mellow, quiet, easy-going and well-behaved and are easy to leash up and walk. Zeus does not act his age and is playful, friendly, and a major show off! He is so proud of knowing how to sit and give paw, especially when treats are involved. He’s also a bit of a goof ball. Zia is a little nervous but tolerant- a gentle, tender-hearted gal who appreciates kindness. Slow and easy works for her and she will come to you for affection when she feels safe. Zeus is the confident one and Zia looks to him for guidance.”In addition to getting along well with Zia, Zeus has been tolerant, easygoing, and a bit playful when meeting other dogs in playgroup. The shelter is truly no place for a senior dog, and Zeus really deserves a loving home with a family who would never leave him behind. Please ask to meet him today!!

This is Buster 13 mo old Male CKC registered Boxer Pup that is neutered. Weighs about 72lbs. He is needing a new home. Great with people and has been around kids (just not 24/7) since we are dog parents only. Just needs somewhere to run around and play fetch. He uses a dog door, potty trained. Loves to snuggle. Loves water. Likes the hose. Started getting him used to swimming in our pool. Likes to chew bones and lick peanut butter. Likes to fetch and run around the yard. The humane society said they cant take him. Probably best in a single dog home. Love him just can't keep him.

Zuko is 1 and a half years old. He is a very smart and trainable dog. He can be very energetic or the biggest couch potato ever. He loves to cuddle and will latch onto you like no other. He thrives off of training. He can be a little reactive if not reinforced with training and boundaries. He warms up pretty quick though. He plays with many dogs but always supervised since he is a puppy.
