Ruby is a 4-year-old dog who is incredibly sweet, but it takes her a little while to feel comfortable in new situations. Once she settles in and builds trust, Ruby reveals her loving, loyal nature and becomes a true companion. She is reserved and a little shy, but in the right environment, she will thrive and show you just how sweet she can be. If you have the patience to help Ruby grow, you’ll be rewarded with a truly special bond. Ruby has been breed tested and we know that she is 100% Rottweiler. Ruby is spayed, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $150. Please email adoptions@hstt.org for more information. *We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each dog based on personality and the behavior we’ve observed rather than a breed label.

Story
He is the sweetest cuddle bug who just wants to be close to his people. Needs a home with a big yard where he has a job and can be off leash. I haven't tested him with kids, but I think he would do great and he would be a perfect guard dog. He has some leash reactivity and gets overstimulated when on leash and other dogs are off leash around him, especially if they run at him. He knows a lot of commands and does great at home but gets distracted when on leash in public. It's not fair to keep him in the busy, suburban neighborhood I live in, he isn't happy. I don't have the ability to properly socialize him so I don't know his full potential. I am sure he would thrive on a lot of land with a job and an experienced dog owner who can train him and give him the life he deserves. He was rescued from a shelter, was a stray so we don't know his history. Can include crate, food, toys and beds.

Calling all Rottie lovers...Trixie is here waiting to steal your heart and your wallet. She is as bit shy but, Trixie knows what she wants and here is her list: A cute leash because she loves her walks. Her own bed because she is kind of over sleeping in a crate. Her very own food bowl...she is a bit possessive of her food and wants everyone to know what bowl is hers. A comfy blanket to snuggle on the sofa with her new favorite person. People to love her...but even Trixie knows you can't buy love...but you also can't say no to those puppy eyes. This sweet girl is shy but does warm up. Don't let her distance fool you...she is a lover who just needs to learn to trust people again. She knows sit, shake and down and is house trained. Also, she was just recently on TV (no pawtographs please)

If you`re looking for a beefy boy with a heart of gold, we`ve got just the guy for you! McRib is a friendly, silly, confident, and active dude who is looking to complete a family. He likes to play ball, cuddle, play with all kinds of toys, receive treats, jump into water, and spend time with people. McRib is such a happy guy overall and he`s going to be an excellent companion for whoever is lucky enough to adopt him! He is respectful of our shelter kitty and does not mind seeing or being around other dogs in outdoor, neutral spaces. He does like his own space and has shown resource guarding of possessions and people in a home setting which is why it is recommended he be the only dog in the household.
