He loves to go hiking, swimming, car rides, camping.  Hey, he is social with other dogs and he loves kids! He is about 3 yrs old and 75 pounds of lovin' doggie looking for his FUREVER home.  His first owner would have challenges personally and forget he had this majestic animal to care for, Fred is looking for that forever family that he can love and adore and they will love him back!  Fred has finished his heartworm treatment and is on normal HW monthly preventative.  He takes his final (tails-crossed waggin'-tail) blood test in 3/4 months to ensure that the immedicide injections killed off all those heartworms.  It is RARE for a dog to still test positive after the full treatment!  Fred's caretaker can talk to you more on his contingency plan.  Contact his caretaker Harry for all the details on this great dog 720.244.8114     August 20, 2024, 11:35 am

Story
**Mollie is a board and train dog through Brighter Days.  Please read all about this before applying to adopt** Mollie is a 2 year old Rottie mix Mollie was surrendered to Brighter Days Dog Resue because her previous owners had never taken the time to train her properly.  Becuase of this she was surrendered to Brighter Days to find a family who actually has the time and dedication a 4-legged companion needs.  When an adult dog comes to us lacking any sort of training we immediately get them into our board and train program.  One of the main reasons dogs get euthanized in an overcrowded shelter is due to lack of training.  When we started Brighter Days we made a commitment that we would make sure every single Brighter Days Dog would be set up for a life time of success, which includes training.  Our trainer works so hard to get these dogs to be wonderful, stable, balanced, obedient, great dogs.  To make sure their hard work is not lost over time due to owners who don't continue the training, we require each one of our adopters who is adopting a board and train dog to take our trainers classes in longmont.  It is an eight week course that is usually $300, but for Brighter Days adopters it is free! Here is what our Trainer has to say about Mollie: Mollie is a high energy, hilarious, sweet and affectionate dog. Mollie will need daily exercise, so an active home is best for her, a home that enjoys walking, running, hiking, etc. Also she needs a house with a big yard and a fully enclosed with a 6 foot privacy fence. She is an awesome dog and will be perfect for the right, active family.  We are going to require Molly goes to a home without other dogs, cats, and kids just to make sure she is set up for success.   If you are inerested in adopting Mollie please fill out our adoption application at brighterdaysdogrescue.com ##1403699##

Story
This little sweetie is looking for someone with a big, big heart to take care of her. She's dealing with an autoimmune deficiency called Masticatory Muscle Myositis in which her immune system attacks the muscles around her mouth and head. All of this is manageable with a special diet and medication, but she's going to need someone who is ready for that responsibility. She's one of the kindest dogs I've ever met, very curious, and sweet as could be. If you're interested in meeting Coco, fill out an application here: https://acesangels.org/aceadopt.html
