Story
Marvel is scared, sweet and shy girl with beautiful markings. She most likely has not been treated well previously but is willing to learn to trust people again. Scared for a few minutes then slowly starts warming up to you if you treat her with gentleness. Needs a foster or adopter to help her build her confidence as a stressful county shelter is a hard place to relax. Please visit our website www.grandrivershumane.org to fill out an adoption application and learn more about our upcoming adoption event locations.

Story
Roxxie was adopted as a puppy and is 4 years old. She needs lots of attention, long walks and a spacious yard. She is very hyper but very sweet. She thinks that she is a lap dog. She grew up with an older husky, 2 cats and a pomsky puppy. She is very loving, cuddly and smart. She knows how to sit, stay, shake, guard (sit between legs), lay down and come. She has a big bark but isn’t aggressive towards people, though she does bark at strangers; she is protective. She was the runt of her litter so she is a smaller Rottweiler. Though she grew up with two other dogs and has gotten along with family member's dogs, she has a very dominant attitude and needs more of the attention focused on her. It would most likely be best for her to be the only dog in the household.
