Hey there! I’m Kato, a 6-year-old Rottweiler, but don’t let my age fool you—I’m full of energy and always up for a good time! I love to run, play, and burn off some steam, so if I don’t get outside to do that, I can get a little rowdy. But once I’ve had my exercise, I turn into a big, sweet, loving teddy bear who just wants to be near you. I’m housebroken and crate trained, and I’ve got some good leash manners, so I’m easy to take on walks or runs. I know a few commands like “sit,” “lay down,” “shake,” and “stay,” though I’ll admit, I can be a little stubborn when it comes to “stay”—sometimes I just get too excited to hold still! But with a few treats and some patience, I’m ready to learn even more. Walks and runs are some of my favorite things, and I’m always up for a game of tug-of-war! I haven’t been around too many other dogs, but I could do well with the right match—someone who’s just as confident and playful as I am. I’ve also lived with a cat before, so as long as your cat is dog-savvy, we’ll probably get along just fine! I absolutely love kids! I’m a friendly guy and I like to be around them, but because I’m so full of energy, I might be a little too much for really little ones. I’d do best in a home with kids 5 and older who can handle my playful nature and keep up with me. I just want to have fun with everyone! What I really thrive in is having a large yard and a tall, solid fence. That’s where I can really burn off my energy and get that good run in. After that, I’m totally calm and happy to relax in the house with you. So, I’d do best in an active home where I can get lots of exercise and attention. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving dog who’s ready to play, run, and snuggle, I might just be the perfect fit for your family!
