Dixie is a Courtesy Listing and is not housed at the Animal Shelter. Please note that the City of Bloomington Animal Care & Control accepts no responsibility for this pet. Potential adopters are responsible for communicating directly with the pet's guardian.Dixie is a Rottweiler & Pointer mix. She is a very well mannered dog who just doesn’t know how big she is around small kids, so she needs a home without small children. Dixie is a high energy dog who loves to play fetch but loves to play frisbee even more. She loves going on long walks, runs. She is potty trained. She knows the basics - sit, lay, off, place, shake. She loves to cuddle. She needs lots of room to run and play, she is scared of new people and takes awhile to get used to them. Dixie would be best as the only pet. Story
Malakai is a Courtesy Listing and is not housed at the Animal Shelter. Please note that the City of Bloomington Animal Care & Control accepts no responsibility for this pet. Potential adopters are responsible for communicating directly with the pet's guardian. Malakai is an outdoor dog primarily. This is due to allergies causing oily skin and a pungent smell. If you have hard wood floors or tile, he really enjoys time inside, but he will ruin fabric or carpet. He is definitely more friendly with Women, being aggressive to unfamiliar men. We believe this is mostly due to high irritation, he's usually much more calm after a bath and mattes are trimmed off. Malakai doesn't go around children so it's not clear of his temperament around them. He will tolerate space with familiar dogs but will immediately attack unfamiliar animals. He does not like cats and will chase them. Malakai is very eager for trips and car rides, he loves walks and enjoys being groomed so long as you're sensitive and comforting. Malakai has issues, he's prone to ear infections, oily skin, and has some unknown bumps we haven't been able to get biopsies for. He's housebroken but won't tell you when he needs to go, which is why its suggested he's only let inside for up to 3-6 hours at a time, and he has a rough temperament to people he doesn't like. With all that said, if he likes you he is a really good dog, he's smart and has good manners. If you are interested in Malakai call (812)583-7716 or email ironhawk17@gmail.com. ***Please ignore the Apply to Adopt button for this pet & contact the owner directly***

Story
Hooch is 4 1/2 years old, weighing about 50 lbs. He is very loving and loyal but with an almost toddler who might be developing an allergy, it is getting hard to keep up with him. Really hate to put him up after all these years but I don't want my child's allergies to suffer. He loves to relax but is also very energetic and loves to play. He is house trained and listens for the most part. Up to date on all shots. Looking for a home that can give him the time and love he needs. He is in a house with 3 older children as well and does well with all of them. He would prefer to be in a home with older children. He would come with his collar, trainer collar, leash, food bowl, toys, treats, flea medicine, and any remaining food. $20 rehoming fee negotiable to prove to a good home
