Story
MEET TAYSO!Tayso is a big goofball who enjoys drinking from the hose, chasing after toys, and sitting in your lap like he is a Chihuahua! Tayso would enjoy a low-traffic home with an adopter who experienced with Rottweilers or other large breed dogs. Rottweilers are a working breed of dog that was originally used for herding to protect herds of cattle against predators like wolves and bears. For this reason, Rottweilers tend to be vigilant and reserved dogs with high energy and intelligence. It takes him time to warm up to strangers, but once you are in, you will get to see his amazing personality! He walks great on leash and has lived with other dogs in the past, and he could do well with another very friendly and tolerant dog in the future pending a dog meet. Check out my video! Tayso is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed/neutered, microchipped and been seen by our vet team. For more information on Tayso or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements. Story
MEET RUBY!Have you always dreamed of getting a Rottie but felt daunted by their size and excercise needs? We may have the perfect solution for you! At six years old, Ruby is totally over the puppy stage, and will be content with walks around the block and a cuddle on the couch. She is on the smaller side for a Rottie, but still has the trademark Rottie wiggle nub and affectionate demeanor towards those she trusts. Ruby is friendly with other dogs and has lived with them in the past, but isn`t looking to wrestle and run around. She would prefer a low-traffic home outside the city where she can recieve brushing and bum scratching to her heart`s content.Ruby is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed/neutered, microchipped and been seen by our vet team. For more information on Ruby or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. Meet Striker, this loveable guy has a heart full of curiosity and a world of energy! Story
Roxie is a very Big Rottweiler, mostly overweight although she has been on a diet since her last vet visit (154lbs) at that time. She gets along with 3 smaller dogs. But she doesn’t get along with our Golden Retriever. Which has upset our home. She does well with our three grandkids all girls 5,7&9 and very protective of them. She is strong willed and won’t let us trim her nails also has cloudy eye! Tried to get her to an animal eye doctor but my wife couldn’t get her in the car on the day of her appointment. She is a good girl but we need to do something! Our home has been in turmoil for over a month.
