Barkley is a sweet 5 yr old rottie mix. She has been in rescue over 3 years. She needs to find her forever home. She does have a high prey drive, so no cats or small dogs. She has done absolutely fine with older children. She has not been exposed to smaller kids other than walking through the store and did fine. She has been completely vetted and is house and crate trained. She loves her belly rubs and will often wait for you to give her one before coming inside. She has no issues being left alone in the home. Would you be the family she has been waiting on? We use the most animal-friendly transport on the road. Rescue Riders Pet Transport.

Story
Butternut Squash is a big, easy going middle aged rottie who came to the shelter when he wandered into someone's garage and refused to leave! He came in with bad ears and pressure sores so he appears to have not had the best life so far. He likes other dogs but prefers to wander rather than play. He's a big guy so would probably do best with a big easy going female. His skin and ears will need TLC and time to heal and may require a follow up visit with his new vet. He's past all the puppy nonsense so if you want an easy going friend who looks intimidating but is a big squishy marshmallow inside, Squash is ready to meet you! All our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots before adoption.

Story
Everyone, meet UMA!She is a beautiful 5 year old Rottweiler weighing approximately 70 pounds.Uma is a sweet, loving girl who adores getting human love and attention. She does amazingly well with other dogs, both male and female. If you have a pet at home, please bring them with you so that Uma and your canine friend can see how well they can spark up a friendship. Unforunately, Uma will not be able to be in a home with cats as she has a high interest in chasing.Uma knows how to sit very well and takes treats politely. She also walks pretty well on leash already, but basic obedience classes are always a good idea not just for training, but also for socialization.Uma is waiting for you to come and give her love and her new home. Please come see her today! If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm.My adoption fee is $75
