Story
Happy is a 5 year old Rottie/Pittie mix who loves people so much! He is very friendly, playful and intelligent! He’s amazing in the car and at the vet and would love to hang out on the couch with you or on his dog bed by your feet. We are looking for a family that will help him lose some weight to give him the best chance of having a long and healthy life! He is also allergic to chicken so he needs to be on a diet with a different protein.
Happy has lived in a home with cats & teens, and regularly goes to the dog park; he’s very well socialised and all around a happy guy! We would love for him to go to a home where he will be involved in the family activities and adventures. He was given up because his previous family didn’t have enough time for him and we are hoping his next family will have more than enough time to give to this very deserving and sweet boy!
Happy is vaccinated, microchipped, has his flea, tick & heartworm prevention, is sterilized and will come with his medical booklet.
Sometimes a dog takes a little more time to open up, you may see them showing more and more of their personality over the course of the first few days, weeks or even months! We don’t know all that they’ve been through before they were rescued, but they are so forgiving and full of love and it’s worth every tough moment in the end. Developing a trusting relationship with your rescue dog is the most important thing. Stability, patience, positive reinforcement and love are the most important things!
Happy est un chien croisé Rottweiler/Pittie de 5 ans qui adore les gens ! Il est très affectueux, enjoueur et intelligent ! Il est formidable en voiture et chez le vétérinaire et adorerait passer du temps avec vous sur le canapé ou sur son panier à vos pieds. Nous recherchons une famille qui l'aidera à perdre du poids pour lui donner toutes les chances de vivre longtemps et en bonne santé ! Il est également allergique au poulet, il a donc besoin d'un régime alimentaire avec une protéine différente.
Happy a vécu dans une famille avec des chats et des adolescents, et va régulièrement au parc à chiens ; il est très bien socialisé et est un chien heureux ! Nous aimerions qu'il aille dans une famille où il participera aux activités et aux aventures familiales. Il a été abandonné car sa famille précédente n'avait pas assez de temps pour lui et nous espérons que sa prochaine famille aura plus que suffisamment de temps à consacrer à ce gentil garçon méritant !
Happy est vacciné, micropucé, traité contre les puces, les tiques, stérilisé et accompagné de son carnet médical.
Parfois, un chien met un peu plus de temps à s'ouvrir. Vous le verrez peut-être révéler sa personnalité de plus en plus au fil des premiers jours, semaines, voire mois ! Nous ne savons pas tout ce qu'il a traversé avant d'être adopté, mais il est tellement indulgent et plein d'amour que chaque moment difficile en vaut la peine. Développer une relation de confiance avec votre chien adopté est primordial. La stabilité, la patience, le renforcement positif et l'amour sont les valeurs les plus importantes !
