Born on April 2, 2023, Koda is expected to be a large-sized dog with a heart to match. While he’s currently working on house training and obedience skills, Koda’s vibrant personality shines through his playful and goofy nature. He adores toys and is highly active, making him an ideal companion for someone who enjoys outdoor adventures and interactive play. Koda rides well in the car, adding to his potential as a fantastic travel buddy. With the right training and affectionate environment, Koda promises to bring joy and companionship to his future family. Thank you for considering adopting a new family member. Memphis area adoption fee is $200      All dogs are spayed or neutered {unless medical issues prohibit the surgery}, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm tested {if old enough} and treated if necessary. They also are de-wormed and start heartworm and flea prevention when rescued. It is continued until adopted. Adopter is furnished with their 1st month's heartworm prevention. ** Out of State adoption fee is $425  and includes a $150.00 the non refundable transportation fee paid to an approved animal transportation company. Several states require the dog to be quarantined 48 hours before pickup. The adopter pays the quarantine fee at time of pick up. Unless otherwise indicated Your Adoption Fee Includes Microchip Spay or Neuter All age appropriate vaccinations   * Local 2 week trial adoption Adopter's first Month's Heartworm prevention  2 week  supply of food to transition to your brand of food.  Known Medical Issues are addressed before Adoption; Any Other Issues are Disclosed ** Health Certificate that states  Dog Does Not Have a Contagious Disease or Internal Parasites to adopt go to:  dogs2ndchance.org/adoption-application-form/ August 11, 2024, 7:09 pm

Cleo is a sweet 2 year old female shepherd mix, currently in a home with other foster dogs. She had successful FHO surgery not long after the rescue pulled her from Memphis Animal Services with injuries sustained from being hit by a car. We rescued her after the shelter sent a plea. Cleo is a sweet girl that can be a little shy at first. She loves people and other dogs, including her foster mom and her teen-aged son. Cleo is in a foster home with multiple dogs. She is house and crate trained. Cleo walks well on leash, but she can get overwhelmed in crowded areas. Cleo loves to cuddle on the couch with her foster mom or with one of her doggy foster siblings. She loves toys, play time and naptime! Cleo has completed training with a 5 star rating at The Champion Farm. Good girl Cleo!
