Story
Suki is a 3 year old Rottie mix girl who is a dream. Suki was found as a stray, living in an apartment complex, and eating from a supermarket next door. Our team member saw her and had to trap her as she was too intelligent and would not come to humans on her own. She was so easy to trap, that it felt as if she wanted to be rescued. Suki lives with her foster parents' Belgian malinois Emma (you can see the video of them at the beach) and loves to follow her around. They live very close to the beach and are there every morning. Her foster mom says she seems to be fascinated with birds - whether because she wants to eat them or just simply enjoys their song is yet to be determined Suki is extraordinarily smart and very affectionate and loving. When her foster parents leave for work, she takes one of their shoes to where she is laying down - she doesn’t chew it up, just puts it next to her and only one, not both. She is not a fan of crate but will comply if needed. A home with a fully fenced yard would be mandatory for her, as well as a family who can dedicate time, patience and love. Suki is currently about 86 lb and fully vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped. She is kept on heartworm and flea preventative. She is great with dogs but has not lived with kids or cats in our care, so we do not know how she is going to be around children or cats. Sweet Suki is being fostered in Texas, but can travel to any state, and even Canada for the right home. Rottweiler experience is mandatory to adopt our breed specific pups. To meet this gorgeous pup via facetime or whatsapp or other video chat apps, please send a completed application via www.savesomesouls.com Yards MUST BE adequately and fully fenced to adopt our pups. We do not accept electric or underground fences.

Story
Meet Kasper, a stunning Rottweiler whose journey to finding a loving home has been marked with resilience. Formerly known as Kenji, he was discovered on the roadside, enduring injuries and severe malnourishment. Despite his challenging past, Kasper is a sweet and young boy who deserves a second chance at happiness. This gorgeous lad is fantastic with other medium to large dogs when introduced properly, but he's not suited for households with small dogs or cats. Kasper is a quick learner, especially when treats are involved – his eagerness to please makes training a breeze. He's mastered commands like sit, lay, stay, and more! House-trained and impeccably well-mannered indoors, he knows the ropes and doesn't engage in destructive behavior like chewing. Kasper's loyalty shines through, a trait inherent in his breed. However, due to his cautious nature around quick movements, a home without children would be the ideal environment for him. Rottweiler enthusiasts understand the importance of structure, rules, and safety in nurturing these amazing companions. Kasper simply needs a chance to showcase his true colors and thrive with someone patient, committed, and understanding of the responsibilities that come with caring for a family member. If you're ready to open your heart and home to Kasper, whether through fostering or adopting, please fill out an application on our website at www.scoutshonor.org. Let's provide Kasper with the love, care, and stability he deserves, ensuring he blossoms into the loyal and devoted family member he's destined to be!August 17, 2024, 12:06 am

Story
Meet Juno, a resilient female Rottweiler with a heart of gold who desperately needs a loving home. Recently rescued by BARC and part of a cruelty investigation, Juno's story is one of heartbreak and incredible strength. Found in a house where her owners had been evicted, Juno was the sole survivor among three dogs. The conditions were deplorable, and her two companions had tragically starved to death. Juno herself was in terrible shape, starving and doing what she had to survive, suffering from a cherry eye, severe skin issues, broken nails, growths, and swollen joints, making every step painful. Despite her suffering, Juno's sweet and gentle nature shone through when we met her. Her calm demeanor during the car ride to the vet and her patience while being examined melted our hearts. The vet confirmed her gentle disposition, describing her as incredibly sweet and easy to handle. Juno is now safe and receiving the medical attention she so desperately needs, including seven different medications and plenty of TLC. However, her journey to recovery is far from over. She will need x-rays and possibly more tests to ensure she heals fully. This brave girl would thrive in a foster home where she can receive the comfort and love she has been missing. By fostering Juno, you can provide her with a nurturing environment that will significantly aid her recovery. In return, Juno will shower you with love and gratitude, proving that even in the face of adversity, her spirit remains unbroken. Please consider opening your home to Juno and helping her on her road to recovery. She is a calm, loving dog who will be forever grateful for your kindness. We will cover all her medical costs.
