Tubbs is a 2+ year old pure bred rottweiler. He has been a good boy to me, my husband, and baby but he needs to go to a home that has the time to work him. He is not aggressive but lacks confidence, especially around strangers. Once he warms up to people he is fine. Our family cannot give the training and attention he needs. Tubbs must go to a home that has experience with working breed dogs or you will find yourself in the same situation we are currently in. We love him and want him to thrive in a new home. He will be a great companion to someone who can give him the time. He hasn't been around many other dogs and does have some dog aggression (mainly towards males). We have a female pit-mix that he is completely fine around.

Just like the classic debate- Left Twix versus Right Twix... both sides together ARE THE BEST!!! I am the same way, I am sweet on one side and salty on the other- together we are perfect! I have a tale to tell, however, none of it matters anymore because I am here right now to tell you- the best is yet to come! I am a big love bug, and although I can be nervous at first- I settle in quickly to be just a big couch potato! I am good with other dogs and would love to have a friend for life in my forever home. I am good with calm older dogs, not much for puppy energy all.the.time... :) I love kids, and would be great with school aged/teenagers (and not many others LIKE teenagers so I can be their buddy :) and would be good in a calmer/quieter home. I want so much to please my family and will look to you for love and attention. I also need a strong leadership family- I have tried to take over control in my first adoptive home and it was not appreciated. SO, you need to be my boss, it's not hard- just let me know you are someone I can trust to keep me safe and take EXCELLENT care of me- with love and more love and I will LET you be in control. I was found out on the streets, skinny and sad with these HUGE marks all around my muzzle :( It is obvious to the rescuers that I had been bound around my mouth/muzzle for an extended point of time..... no words can express how sad and heartbroken this makes my rescue peeps feel, cause I am the BESTEST girl! Loving and smart and GREAT with EVERYONE I meet!! I have puppy-dog brown eyes that'll absolutely pull at your heart strings, so careful when I look up at you! I have the ability to melt you into jelly, so get ready to make me your NEWEST family member!! In the sweltering heat I was blessed enough to CHOOSE the Post Office to hang out in. I was there for months, and no one could get me...and they tried but they deliver MAIL, not SAVE DOGS for a living..:) The Post Master knew about a local rescue, and they tried to help me too...then I was hit by a car and injured... AND I found a girlfriend and she was my lucky break, literally. The Police Department was finally able to save us and away we went to the rescue! He has the subtle markings of a Rottweiler or a Doberman and the temperament of a lab. He had an injured hip when saved but he has had surgery and has had his heartworms treated. During all this time he has started to know what a kind hand is like, some love, and real food!
