Story
Hi, my name is Agamemnon and I would love to meet you. I have been at the shelter since Mar 30, 2025. There’s no better place than cuddled up close to my human on the comfiest couch. I’m the kind of dog that enjoys an easy-going lifestyle. Movie marathons, binge-watching shows, designated nap times, and regular pets are some of my favorite activities to do with my people!

Story
Hi! My name is Barbosa and I am available for adoption! I am a shy, but well mannered boy. I am potty trained and walk ok on leash. However, if I find a smell I really like, you`ll have to give me treats to get my attention. I know `sit` and I am working on `wait!`I am a large breed dog, and I weigh 71lbs.I went to playgroup and I did alright! I am social with other dogs it seems, but I need reminders to keep my paws to myself and play respectfully. I would benifit from a calm home with time and attention to spare. You can visit me at the Pet Adoption Center on weekdays from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm, Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The Pet Adoption Center is located at 21615 64th Ave S, Kent, WA 98032.Come and visit me today, I`d love to go home with you!

Story
Jolene LOVES belly rubs. She knows sit, paw and down; but rolls to her belly as fast as she can in hopes of cuddles. Jolene does not mind people getting in her face and thinks it's an invitation for kisses. She is a lover and not a fighter. Jolene is fostered with other dogs and plays with pitties, bullies, dobies and hounds daily. She has a deep growl when she plays (very much a Rottie thing) and can be the bully. Her dominate play style is maternal and not aggressive, she does well with other females or passive females. Jolene is playful and likes toys and keeping up with all the new smells around her. She would love a yard, farm or ranch to call home. She walks nicely on a leash, though she's huge, she's gentle and wants to stay with her human. Favorite Toy: Squeaky Duck Favorite Color: Purple Favorite Food: Duck jerky sticks She is 4 years old and appears to be mostly Rottweiler. Built like a 'brick house' - she is currently 92 lbs and stays busy supervising horses, chickens and many dog friends. Vaccinated, Spayed, Microchipped, Heartworm treated and on prevention - she is ready to travel to spend 2025 with her forever family. FOSTERED IN TEXAS. *Adoption Fee includes fee for XL crate in van transit to PNW, Midwest or NY-NJ-CT-VA-VT states by pet transport partners. Email to Apply! Adopt@CaffeinatedCanineRescueTx.org --------------------------------------------------- See more Photos, Videos and Updates on Social Media Facebook.com/CaffeinatedCanineRescueTX Instagram @CaffeinatedCanineRescue --------------------------------------------------- Her-story: Jolene ended up in need of care in south Brazoria County in October 2023. She came to the shelter with a male hound and shared a kennel with him until he was adopted. She struggled to make new dog friends at the loud shelter once she was alone, being transferred to SPCA Lake Jackson for care. Volunteers at the shelter loved Jolene and walked her daily, took her out for cuddles and tried to help her relax. We met her and knew we had the foster home and space to give her. Time to decompress and show us her true self.

Story
Honeynutt is available for adoption through his foster home! If you are interested in meeting him, please reach out to us and we will connect you with his foster home! Honeynutt is an 8-month-old Rottweiler mix with the most soulful eyes and a heart full of potential. This sweet boy may be a little shut down right now, but underneath his quiet exterior is a loving pup just waiting for the right person to help him bloom. He’s been through more than a young dog should, and while he’s shy and reserved at first, Honeynutt is not broken—just in need of someone who understands that trust takes time and love requires patience. He’s looking for a calm, compassionate home where he can feel safe, decompress, and slowly learn that the world isn’t so scary after all.Once Honeynutt learns you`re his person, he`ll reward you with gentle affection, loyal companionship, and a bond that’s deeply special. He’s the kind of dog that will never forget the one who gave him a second chance. The dog adoption fee is $90. They come spayed/neutered, microchipped, first set of vaccines including DAPP (parvo combo), Bordatella (kennel cough), have been dewormed with Pyrantel, and have been treated with selamectin for fleas. Our website updates every hour, but some animals may be adopted faster than we can get them updated online. If you`d like to check on the status of an animal, please call us at 360-352-2510. This is especially important if you are viewing this animal on any site other than Animal Services` website.

Story
Cookie is currently in a foster home at a rescue in Oklahoma. We are looking for a home in a state where people treat their animals well. She has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport near one of the cities listed at the bottom. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, she will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. Cookie is a female, possible Rottweiler mix and is approximately 1 1/2 years old (December 14th), and she is around 55 pounds. -Has been with the shelter since January 2024 -Cookie is dog, kid, and adult friendly; sweet, cuddly, clever, and high-energy. -When taken into the yard to play, she is very excited and does jump quite high to get your attention. After a few minutes, she does relax and lay down in the yard. She was the easiest dog I've ever had to take pictures of. She just laid down and looked pretty! -Cookie is very patient and will sit and wait. She loves car rides! -Walks on a leash but does pull since she is so excited. -Video of Cookie: https://youtube.com/shorts/KEcdppJverM Cookie is spayed, vaccinated (Rabies, DHLPP, Bordetella), has been dewormed, a negative heartworm test (done on Dec 12th), on monthly flea/tick/HW prevention. Health certificate and exam will be performed less than 10 days prior to transport. Adoption fee is $550 total, this is including all vetting above and $250 transport cost. Story
Meet Missy! Missy is ready for her forever home and we could not be more thrilled about that! She was freed from life on a very short chain not too long ago. She was stuck on this chain in the snow and cold without access to shelter or water. The chain was so deeply embedded in her neck that it caused a deep wound, requiring urgent medical care. Missy had surgery to remove the chain  (it was embedded about 1.5 inches deep) and spent the next 5 days in the hospital recovering. Throughout all of this, she was friendly, good natured and cooperative. She must have been in so much pain for so long, but yet she still trusts in the goodness of people. Missy is now in foster care - her neck is fully healed. She has learned the joys of sleeping in comfy beds, going on long walks and even visiting the beach. She is a gem. She is good with other dogs and has a Rottie foster brother. Her foster mom is a dog trainer and she has been working with Missy on the basics such as crate training, leash walking etc. Missy has a little separation anxiety, but that is to be expected and it is already getting much better. She will need continued training and socialization. We would like to see Missy with a family who understand and have experience with her breed.  From her foster: "Missy has been staying with me for a few weeks now , and over time her personality has really come out !! She is the biggest cuddle bug , thinks she is a 90lb lap dog she loves to cuddle up right between your shoulder and your face. She loves her dog bed and loves her stuffy toys (specifically the ones that crinkle) she loves the beach and hikes , she would make a great companion for someone who is active. She’s the best buddy to have ! She loves going anywhere her people are going! She’s always excited to jump out of the car and get the day started ! She’s non reactive to both humans and dogs , she’s super people social when approached while we are out , she’s come to multiple brewery’s with me and said hi to all the staff and collected her treats from everyone in there. She has a beautiful off switch, if we are sitting some where for a while she will lay down and take a nap , but springs into action what it’s time to get up and get going! She’s made so many new friends over the course of staying with me and I’m so excited to see her make more !!  She’s also extremely biddable and eager to please her people! She loves training and picks up on things very quickly. She is conditioning to the clicker and knows when she hears that click food is coming her way!  She’s the best friend to have and I can’t wait for her to find her forever person Missy is now vaccinated, spayed and chipped. Her adoption fee is $450 We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon!
