Story
Hi, I’m SilverStream a gorgeous short haired Russian blue mix, girl! My Foster family wonders if Ill be more medium hair because of my wispy tail and wisps throughout. I’m a curious watchful girl who is a watchful very calm and laid-back but I do love a good play session, especially with my siblings. I’ve been around cats all ages, cat, friendly dogs, and older children. I start looking a little serious and shy but once you snuggle me I’ll begin to purr. I’m not a huge fan of being picked up,  but my foster mom says that as soon as I have my own family and they snuggle me a lot she knows that’ll become a favorite. I love the cat tree playing with toys and running about. I’m chipped, spayed, vaccinated, wormed, and ready for a home to call my own. I have quite the story of being a warrior, which is why my whole family is named after the warrior cats, come and fall in love.

Story
Our Nana had passed away few months prior and had to take her cat in, however we are struggling financially and don't have the money to take care of her. She doesn't get along with the dog or other cats we have and has been unfortunately aggressive towards them. Lee Lee needs a space free of any other animals or children and maybe an outdoor space for her to roam if that can be provided. Better yet, if needed she could be a good farm cat. She likes to hunt down any birds or rodents that make their way into our yard.

Story
Blue was found abandoned at a business at only 3 weeks of age. He was super sick and we didnt know if he would make it. But he did! He is about 10 months, very cuddly and loving. His fur is super soft! Loves to be pet and cuddled. He is very very smart and requires mental stimulation, through play and interactive toys. He has learned to open cabinets, doors and drawers. He is very curious and if the refrigerator, a cupboard or cabinets are left open no matter how brief he gets inside. He has alot of energy as well. And needs someone that has some kitty experience to watch out for him. So he doesnt get shut inside the fridge...for hours. He does follow you around and likes sitting in his cat trees looking out the window and likes high up places to hang out. He is looking for a home that has one or two other playmates around the same age. And someone that is home alot to give him the attention he needs. He does play hard and is best if there are older children in the home.

Story
Paulie is very shy. He is always underfoot and trying to solicit attention, but when given, he shys away. He loves basking in the sunlight looking out the window. He very rarely sits on the couch, but is always in the room with you. He has made friends with all the kitties in the house and loves to play and race around with them. There isn't a toy here that he hasn't played with. He is very curious about everything, but very tentative when it comes to humans. As soon as your not paying attention he is leg swirling and tripping you up or stealing the toy from your lap. He is slowly warming up to being petted. He absolutely loves human touch, but it will take a minute to gain his trust. He might react differently in a different environment though..... He needs a quiet home. A family that is willing to be patient and let him adjust on his own time frame, but not ignore him. He does great with other cats and has made a bestie, Texas (also up for adoption and has the same personality traits). He would do fine with another cat (although we think this might be why Paulie has become so aloof, he gets so much attention from his housemates that he doesn't necessarily want ours) or he would be fine on his own. Paulie is part of our foster to adopt program. Since we don't know exactly how he would respond outside of our environment, we are open to fostering before adoption. If you are interested in meeting Paulie, please fill out our questionnaire. https://forms.wix.com/r/7207729348810375426

Story
Approximate Date of Birth:1/1/2024 Description: I came into the rescue after my foster mom trapped me in a lighting warehouse where some of the employees were not very nice to me. This made me very skittish and scared of people but I was still a young kitten and my foster parents knew I needed to be in a loving home. Even though I’ve never been an aggressive kitty, it took me one full week to stop hissing, two full weeks to like being petted and to play, and a whole month to be comfortable with being held. Once I trust you and know you, I am obsessed with playing, Im very talkative, and love to be held like a baby and kissed on the head. I don’t even want to be alone anymore. I enjoy pats on the back, I’m obsessed with kittens, have a lot of energy and get overly excited around other felines so I would like a companion. If my person is patient at first, they will see how amazing I am. Words to Describe Me: Shy at first, playful, goofy, a lot of energy, loving affectionate Kitty's Dislikes: Belly rubs Fastest Way to Get Me to Purr: Pets on the head Good with Cats: Likes cats given a proper introduction. Good with Dogs: Unknown .  Good with Children: Can live in a house where children occasionally visit, as long as the children are pet-friendly. Companion Animal: Not necessary. Health information: All cats and kittens will be spayed or neutered, FeLV / FIV tested (as indicated by age), receive vaccinations appropriate for age, preventative deworming, and microchipping prior to adoption as appropriate by age. Eddie is FIV positive which is not contagious to other cats.  FIV positive cats live with FIV negative cats.   Learn more about FIV . Story
Approximate Date of Birth:2/26/2023 Description:   Specter and his brother Phantom were trapped at the Stapley Walmart and when we pet them through the trap bars they didn't bite or scratch. Over several months they became social with their foster mom, and love being pet by her and fed treats. Specter is more friendly and might run, but he warms right up to people if they offer him food while they pet him. Specter likes to wind around people's legs and does the same thing to his fellow cats. He is obnoxiously friendly to other cats to the point of annoyance for some of them. He is non-aggressive but enjoys playing. Specter will whine when it's 6pm because he knows it's time for his wet food, and he is the most eager one. Specter has the strange habit of liking baked goods and has chewed through the bags to eat his foster dad's bread. He also jumped onto the table while his foster mom was making red velvet cupcakes and started eating one before she stopped him. His foster parents keep baked goods up high, or in solid containers. Specter likes to jump up on the couch and sit next to his foster mom to be petted and brushed. He will follow his foster mom throughout the house, and never gets enough pets. He will cuddle up with any cat that lets him. Words to Describe Me: Gentle and fun Favorite Place to Sleep: On the floor Favorite Toy: Stick toys and mice Perfect Day: Wake up stretched out on my back on the floor, eat my dry food, play with my friend or brother, eat a treat, receive pets, climb my cat tree and sleep on top, rub up against my foster mom because she's in the kitchen and might give me food, eat my wet food at 6pm, and settled in stretched out in the middle of the living room near my foster mom. Kitty's Likes: Head pets starting at the nose Kitty's Dislikes: Be picked up Fastest Way to Get Me to Purr: Pet my head Favorite Treat: Churu's and Meow Mix dry treats Job Title in Foster: Lover boy When I Grow Up, I Want to Be: A loving friend Good with Cats:  Loves cats. Good with Dogs: Unknown, but optimistic (Animal has not met any dogs.) Good with Children:  Can live with children over the age of 8. Companion Animal: Requires a feline companion always.  Health information: All cats and kittens will be spayed or neutered, FeLV / FIV tested (as indicated by age), receive vaccinations appropriate for age, preventative deworming, and microchipping prior to adoption as appropriate by age.
