Russian Blue kittens & cats in Wilmington, North Carolina

July 20, 2024 These two handsome brothers are doing great, having recently been returned to FURR, so once again they’re looking for a new home.   Terry adopted out Perch & Blue Marlin a couple months ago, however the adopter’s situation recently changed and, sadly, they are no longer able to keep these kitties. While Terry follows a careful, thorough process to evaluate and approve interested adopters, sometimes things just don’t work out as planned. Fortunately, FURR accepts returns of kitties originally adopted from us to ensure they never again end up where they started – homeless and in need of rescue! Sweet Tabitha came to Feline Matchmakers with her siblings, still nursing her mom, Jezebel. She is playful, social and loving. Tabitha was adopted out as a kitten. Years later, she was picked up as a stray and taken to the shelter. We contacted her original adopter with a request for vet records, but got no reply. She had never been rabies registered with the county. We aim to find Tabitha a much better family who knows that taking a cat to the vet once a year for an exam and neccessary vaccinations is important. She takes time to adapt to other cats and isn't much interested in cats or dogs. She is very loving with humans and was brought up with kids. All Feline Matchmakers cats get age appropriate vaccinations, fixed, tested and microchipped prior to adoption.
