Abby is still fearful of people but is making good progress. She lets familiar volunteers pet her and she enjoys the touch and affection. She needs an adoptor with a quiet house (she does ok with other cats) who is very patient. The right adopter for Abby will let her progress at her pace and will love her even if she doesn't completely overcome her fear. Abby is sweet and gorgeous and we believe she'll continue to get more comfortable. We're making her available now in case the right adopter comes along. During our chat, we can also give you tips or answer questions about how to successfully integrate your new family member into your household, especially if you have other pets. Our adoption fee is $150 and covers our costs of spay/neuter, vaccinations, vet exam, and supplies. (Once old enough, all our cats are current on their shots and have been spayed/neutered.) Tyrone is a lover boy if there ever was one. This handsome boy is sweet, sweet ,sweet. Tyrone almost lost his life in a busy shelter because he had major cage rage. But that was all for show. He was so terrified in that cage he acted like the meanest kitty on the face of the earth but that's not at all the case. He's actually one of the most loving and affectionate cats we have ever met. Tyrone doesn't mind dogs or cats once he's comfortable in his new place. He loves to be held and pet and will happily rub himself all over you all the time. If you need a friend, Tyrone is your guy.
