Story
Brooke is certainly a one-of-a-kind girl! Being rescued in Afghanistan, this Sight-hound mix has found herself in the US and looking for a home to call her own! Brooke can run like the wind, is very smart, and loves adventure! At 6 years old, Brooke takes a bit of time to warm up to new people but when she does, she’ll lean into you which is her way to let you know you’re "in". Her past has left her a bit leery of new things so knowing how to "read" dog language would be much appreciated! We have asked Brooke what she would like in her very own home and she feels she would like an adult home who has big dog experience. She also requests that she be the only animal in the home- no apartments or condos. She needs a fenced in yard (no electric fences) , lots of toys to enjoy and de-stuff, her very own bed, and people who love her sensitive side!
