Adorable little Waldorf is as sweet as can be and is sure to steal your heart! Waldorf (we also call him “Wally”) is a 9 lbs. mini-Poodle that is about 5 years old. He is a bit timid and cautious when you first meet him, but once you win him over, he will love you deeply and keep you entertained with his nutty antics. This fluffy Muppet is a natural class clown, an excellent companion in the car, and an expert cuddler. He plays with toys sometimes, but mostly he just craves human interaction – he wants to go where you go, do what you do, and loves to be carried and cuddled. This perfect pup also brilliantly gets along with other dogs and cats, so he would be great in a home with other pets, but also could be a wonderful companion in a home where he is the only pet and the center of your universe. Waldorf is still working on his housetraining skills and has made significant progress. But his adopter will need to be patient, as this is a new skill he is learning. In the meantime, he is perfectly comfortable wearing diapers as he continues to refine his potty-training abilities. He also is a bit too timid and distractible to potty on a leash, so an attached fully fenced yard would be ideal for Wally’s long-term success. Waldorf is practically a perfect pup, but it is also important to be aware that Waldorf has Epilepsy. Based on his current medical needs, he would be best suited for an adopter that is retired or works from home, to help make sure that he receives his medications on time and so that someone can intervene if he has a seizure. Due to Wally’s small size and sensitive health condition, we advise that any children in his adoptive home should be at least 14 years old. This pint-sized fluffy Poodle prince is now accepting applications to find his perfect forever-family match. Could that be you?

Precious Sweet Pea is ready to find her forever family! Could that be you? This pint-sized fluffy Poodle princess is only about 10 lbs, but she will prance her way into your heart with the joy and finesse of a Fred Astaire dance routine! This little charmer is such a ray of sunshine -- smiling all the time, tail wagging, comfortable around dogs of all sizes (and cats!), and as darling as the day is long! She is a gentle 7-year-old companion, who is timid at first, but then opens up with her whole heart. She would really excel in a home with at least one other dog to help boost her confidence, and bonus points if you happen to work from home or are retired and can give her extra cuddle time! Quick movements and loud noises startle this little darling, so we think gentle kids about 16+ years or older would be best. Are you looking for a buddy to help you achieve your daily step count? Sweet Pea has excellent leash manners and loves going for strolls around the neighborhood. She is crate trained and is a quiet companion that loves to sit on your lap, be held in your arms, and follow you around the house. She is a fashionista that you can dress up, and she would love a family with a fashion-forward mindset – particularly someone who appreciates the fine art of cute colorful diapers while she refines her potty-training routine. She has made enormous housetraining progress, but in the meantime, how can you resist a dog in adorable outfits? Sweet Pea is also Heartworm positive, but Renegade Paws Rescue is committed to treating the disease at no cost to her future adopter. Because Renegade provides the treatment at our facility in Savannah, we prioritize applications that live locally or can bring her to our Savannah location for her treatment routine when scheduled (likely in about June of 2025).

When you first see my soulful eyes and little goatee, you might think I’m a poet living by myself in a Parisian garret. But no, no, no, I am an energetic little love bug who hates to be alone. Yes, I did come from a bad situation, but I’m finding that life can be good in a home with snuggles and a yard to run in. Although I’m about 2 years old, I never had a chance to do the fun puppy things, so I have some catching up to do. But I’m smart and I am learning good house manners quickly. I’m not a fan of my crate and if you leave me alone, I will protest very loudly. So I would do best with plenty of attention and maybe a dog friend to keep me company. In return I will be your faithful shadow and the best snuggler ever.
