Wesley is living in a foster home, fill out our quick adoption survey, and then we can set up a phone call or meet and greet with his foster! Wesley is: Neutered: Yes! Up to date on vaccines: Yes! Microchipped: Yes! Our microchips will automatically register when an adoption is finalized - Currently taking medication for anxiety support More about Wesley: Housebroken: Yes! Crate trained: No, Wesley has done better in his foster home with being gated to a small area or left to roam free versus being crated Leash walking: Wesley is leash reactive on walks and will bark and lunge when he sees other dogs. His adopter will be offered a free spot in our virtual leash reactivity training class! Dog social: Wesley needs to be the only dog in the home. He has been able to make a dog friend after very slow introductions with them Cat social: No, he prefers not to have feline friends Kid friendly: Wesley is not able to share a home with kids because of his "stranger danger" behavior and is looking for an adult only home Wesley likes: - Spending time with his person! - Giving his rope toy a tour of the home every morning after his walk - Putting his head on your lap to politely ask for pets Wesley is a fun goof who has a lot of love for his person. Wherever you are in the house, he wants to be, so be ready for an adorable scruffy shadow. He'll cuddle up next to you on the couch for a cozy night in, or can play catch in the yard with you for as long as you want. A ride or die kind of boy, he struggles when new people enter his home and will bark and lunge at them. He does best when he meets people with slow and controlled intros outside of his home and entering all together. He can warm up to new people but will need patience and training with this. His adopter will be offered a spot in our virtual leash reactivity course to help them learn to manage his leash behavior towards both dogs and humans he encounters. on walks. Wesley would thrive in a low traffic, adult only home with a yard in a quiet neighborhood. He's here for all the scratches you want to give him on his fluffy head and knowns sit, down, off and wait, just be sure to have a treat ready! Wesley's adoption fee is $300 and he is neutered, up to date on vaccines and ready to give his love to his person!
