Story
Ethereal is a 7-year-old, 10.5-pound mini Schnauzer/Poodle mix who's as adorable as her name suggests. This happy girl is full of sunshine and absolutely adores attention—she'll light up any room with her cheerful presence. She is super sweet and eager to please and loves to be right by your side at all times.Ethereal has a very playful spirit. One of her favorite games is hide and seek which can launch her in to major zoomies with her tail wagging and body wiggling. It is quite cute and entertaining!True to the her Schnauzer mix, she is highly alert to sights and sounds, even watching the birds fly around in the air. She loves to watch the deer and other wildlife but has never acted aggressive or barked at them. Her crate training is coming along well. When directed, she will walk into the kennel by herself although she would rather sleep on the bed with you. She may whine at first but quickly goes to sleep. She is for the most part house-broken and has only had a few accidents. We take her outside frequently throughout the day to form a consistent routine and she goes to the restroom right away without getting distracted. Oh, and she walks on a leash like a pro!!Ethereal is a sweet, precious, gentle, and intelligent dog that would pretty well fit in with most families. I haven't seen her interact with other dogs but I could see her getting along well with another dog that she could play with.IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. You can read more about transport here: www.charmingpetrescue.org/transportWe understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.April 16, 2025, 7:00 am
