Luna is an approximately one-year-old Corgi/Shar Pei mix who is sweet, smart, friendly and playful, She and her siblings (see Peanut) were rescued from a homeless encampment as puppies (her parents had been used for breeding). She currently lives at an in-home boarding with dogs of all sizes and breed and she gets along with all of them wonderfully. She even gets a few of the older ones to play around with her. She has been at busy adoption events where she is calm and friendly, and not phased by kids running around, dogs barking, or people fawning all over her. She is the perfect family dog. Luna is in the Los Angeles area.

Meet Hank We rescued Hank when we were driving home and spotted a black puppy running back and forth between traffic. We pulled over and he jumped right in our car. We scanned for a chip- nothing. We had Hank vaccinated and he will be microchipped and neutered thru our rescue! His neuter will be covered by Our rescue when he is 6-8 months old. If you're interested in adopting Hank please send your inquiry to info@concernedcitizensanimalrescue.org and we will send you an application. Our vets best guess is that he is about 4 months. He loves other dogs and children. Very calm and loving boy who will make someone or a family very happy! We do not transport animals. We don't accept phone calls initially. Thanks for your interest in Hank! Please do not apply to adopt Hank if you are going out of town for your summer vacation. We do not hold animals for anyone. Please only apply if you’re available to meet him and adopt him presently.

ECHO…Echo…echo… just like the sounds that bounce off canyon walls, this fun and zippy girl likes to bounce around too! She is one spunky spitfire with the smarts to go with! Sweet and petite (she looks way bigger in her photos but is really only 53 pounds tall) she is a go getter and LOVES to have fun. Her love language? Sniffaris. She really enjoys walks and hikes where she can explore her environment. She loves to watch the world and all the exciting things happening in it! She would make a great sport partner for someone who is willing to keep her focused and make it fun for her. Some thoughts on this? Disc, Fast Cat, Barn Hunt, Dock Diving – she is fast, agile and willing. She loves to learn and try new things. She also loves to run and jump! Her nickname? Dinosaur. Sometimes she likes to walk on two legs. (Is there a dog sport where this might come in handy?) Echo was surrendered to a high-volume shelter in LA when her family decided they couldn’t keep up with her energy. Unfortunately, this is a common path for many high drive dogs, and when they get to the shelter with nothing to do, their energy doesn’t dissipate, so unless someone is ready for a skyrocket (which we are) an amazing dog like this gets passed up. We love her drive and energy and look for exactly those qualities, however, Echo is a girl with not only many talents, but many interests too, so she wanted to do other things besides just work. Although she’s not a super snuggle bunny, once she connects with you, she shows you how truly special she is and will try so hard for you! If you are looking for a funny, athletic, enthusiastic and special partner, this girl is for YOU…You…you!
