Sasha is an amazing female shar-pei that acts much younger than her age. She would love an active household that includes her in activities. Sasha is very smart and takes direction/correction well. She has been fostering as an only dog, but can be good with other dogs after appropriate slow introductions and does best with dogs that are neutral or not reactive. She has been on overnights to a friends' home with small dogs, but has had less exposure to larger dogs. This girl loves to please! She loves toys, walks on a leash/harness (but could use some more practice), knows "sit", "stay", "heel" and "come", and is potty trained. She is not used to being crated at her current foster home. She may briefly barky at strangers, but warms up quickly, particularly in her foster home. Strange dogs get an equally barky reception, but with guidance and time, we believe she's totally up for a four-legged bff, but would be just as happy or happier (?) as an only dog, getting all of your attention and love! &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Sasha loves attention and hanging out in the yard. (She would really like a yard.) She will chase the occasional squirrel and loves to bird watch. She has a lot of energy and would love regular walks and fun. But she can be a snuggly couch companion, giving eskimo kisses, too! This girl is spayed, microchipped and is up to date on vaccines. She would do best in a home without small toddlers, but has been on sleepovers with kids aged 7+ without issue. Did we mention she is also drop dead gorgeous??? Meiko was found as a stray in Northern California and landed in a shelter. He was underweight, already neutered and his age is estimated at 6 years (possibly younger). Meiko is good with other dogs and is friendly with people (even the vets!). He is possessive of his favorite bone (which he can spend hours gnawing on) or food bowl and will give you a little growl if he thinks you will take it, so he probably shouldn't be around young kids (who tend to wave crackers/food in their hands and may want to borrow a yummy dog bone without asking). This boy loves food and cuddles, adores being outside, but if given the choice will follow you around or hang inside with you. He is independent, would be fine in a home where people work/out of home. He will give a little bark in the morning to let you know it's time for outside potty trip. He is about 39 pounds, but could still benefit from adding a few pounds. He is fostering in Southern California.August 19, 2024, 7:17 pm

Bruno is a 4 year old Bull Terrier with lots of energy. He is a very happy, loving, Goofy, energetic, dog who would be best with someone who could keep him inside and give him lots of attention. He loves to take walks and is very good on a leash, never lunges towards other dogs or gets aggressive. He gets along with other dogs but is can be territorial, dominant, alpha male when it comes to food with our other male dog. Has a history of getting aggressive and nipping when it comes to food.

Hi! My name is Butch and I am approx 9 months old. My foster parents believe I am a bull terrier AKA a bully! I was found running along the 210 freeway! I was saved by a nice lady who took me to the local animal shelter to see if my previous family was looking for me. Unfortunatly no one was looking for me and I was not microchipped. I was stuck sitting at the shetler day after day after day, just waiting for my person to come adopt me. Well that day never came and I was on the euthansia list one afternoon. Well boy did I get lucky! The woman who found me orginally saw me on the RED LIST and rushed down to the shelter to rescue me again! She was lucky to make it just in time. She is now fostering me. I am STILL patiently waiting for my perfect person or family. If you would like to do a meet and greet or a foster to adopt type situation so we can get to know each other, that would be fine by me. I am good with other dogs, love to go on walks and hikes! I love kids too. I am very smart and a quick learner. We are working on crate training, potty training, and agility. ##2128706##
