Story
Sheba is a sweet and gentle senior gal with an easy going personality. She arrived at our rescue partner in March after her family decided they no longer wanted her. This sweet angel is ready to find her actual forever home to spend her golden years. From her foster: " Absolutely LOVES her soft plush toys. She'll walk around with one in her mouth for an hour happy as can be! She gets along with other dogs but likes to just do her own thing. Very shy at first but LOVES personal attention away from others. She does get scared at loud noises and big objects being moved. Kennel trained well. Playing tug - https://youtube.com/shorts/ss6qTTmD7KU Playgroup with big and small dogs - https://youtube.com/shorts/4p0SDvfp2m8 ADOPTION FEE: $300 We are a foster-based rescue and generally do not have pups available to meet at our office except during adoption events on Saturdays. Not every dog attends every adoption event. Interested in this pup? The first step is to complete our online application by clicking the "Apply for Adoption" button. Please note that we are only able to finalize adoptions at events for approved adopters. The earlier you apply, the better as it takes time to review and approve applications. We host adoption events almost every Saturday from 10:00am to 1:00pm at our rescue office (1721 W Harmony, unit 102, Fort Collins, Co 80526)! Check our Instagram and/or Facebook page for info on where we will be hosting adoptions this weekend! All Aboard Animal Rescue saves dogs and puppies from high-kill shelters in other states. These pups are brought to Colorado, where they are required to be spayed or neutered - breaking the cycle of unwanted litters of puppies who end up as strays! Please consider supporting us in this mission by adopting, fostering, volunteering, or donating.

Story
Lollipop! WOW! What can we say about this amazing girl? Lollipop came to us from a shelter in New Mexico, where unfortunately, her previous owners were no longer able to continue caring for her. They let the shelter staff know that she is house trained, kid friendly, cat friendly, AND dog friendly - and the shelter staff agreed she was absolutely adorable and amazing. They knew they had to get her out of their crowded shelter as there are few adopters in the area, so she came to us in Boulder, CO and we couldn't be happier to have made her acquaintance. Lollipop is 2 years old and 45 pounds. She is a Chinese Shar Pei. From Lollipop's foster: * * * * "She’s the SWEETEST thing oh my gosh, she just wants pets and cuddles. She is not aggressive at all. I took her to play with my friends husky/german Shepard mix who was SUPER hyper and she was a bit hesitant of his energy at first, but after a minute they were besties! She loves sniffing other dogs too. She is honestly just the sweetest dog. She doesn’t bark and she’s really easy going. She responds to the word “love” which is adorable to me. She’s not hyper in the slightest and loves her naps. She also gets perked up when I ask her if she wants to go on a walk, so she knows that phrase too. I took her to the lake today and forgot to get pics... but she LOVED it! She loves car rides. And she even stepped in the lake! She might need some extra help getting in and out of the car though, depending on how confident she’s feeling." * * * * Lollipop is social and will love walks and outdoor adventures, once she has warmed up in her happy environment. Our ideal home for Lollipop would be with someone who has plenty of time for a new best friend. She deserves the best... because she's already shown us what an amazing and loyal cutie she is. Farfel's Rescue has found over time (we've rescued more than 3,000 dogs over 15 years of rescue) that families that attend level 1 training classes or address individual challenges at home with one of our approved positive reinforcement/force free trainers keep their dogs for life. Dogs that do not get proper training and socialization have a much higher risk of developing behavioral problems. There is a bonding that occurs through the training process that can't be duplicated. It also teaches behaviors that enable a dog to go out into the world with excellent manners that create a very respectful relationship between dogs and their humans. It is for all these reasons that Farfel's isn't willing to adopt to a family that doesn't choose to create this training relationship. Farfel's is happy to provide a list of approved positive reinforcement/ force-free trainers in your area. Lollipop is in Boulder, CO. Adoption applications are currently being accepted for this sweet and cuddly best friend. An app can be found at http://farfels.com/farfels-rescue/adoption-form/. If interested, please fill out completely and submit. **PLEASE NOTE** If you're truly interested in adopting from us, please be sure to fill out our Farfel's Rescue adoption application found at the link above or at farfels.com. Adoption site applications such as Petfinder, Rescueme and Adoptapet don't provide enough information and therefore aren't useful. Our Farfel's application is the only initial tool that we have to determine a great match for this very deserving pup. We're sorry, but in most cases, we're unable to get back to those that don't submit our Farfel's Rescue adoption application. Thanks very much for choosing rescue.

Story
Ruby and Lucy: Love each other, bonded, love food, all food, snacks, even fruit, lettuce and pizza if they can find it. Love being with people: Ruby doesn't like being left alone really at all and is very afraid of fireworks. Lucy a little less reactive to them and not as excitable by people coming home. They love to snuggle. They love chew bones and are prey driven: especially squirrels and lizards. Lucy loves to just steamroll ahead on a walk while Ruby prefers to mark everything she can. they are very smart, and can do dog puzzles if food is involved. Did I mention they love food?:) Lucy loves stuffies, destroying stuffies. One of her favorite things in the world to do. They love zoomies. But not other dogs. They like to sleep by their people and if you close a door on Ruby she will open it. They like to protect the house and will bark with people approaching. They are very very sweet.
