Sully (born in October of 2014) came to Safe Haven at 3 days old with his mom and 8 siblings, and he was adopted but his owners lost him in the desert. He was very relieved to find himself home again at the sanctuary after being alone in the desert, and he has been at the sanctuary ever since. He loves taking walks and getting attention from his people at the sanctuary, and he is hoping to find a new home with special people who will help him settle in.

Naya is around eight months. (and looks bigger then she is in pics) She is a boxer mix. She has beautiful (almost stripes)brindle pattern. Without exaggerating&#44 she is a sweetheart who wants to cuddle up. She does not pull on the leash. within a day She learned how to sit on command. She loves kids doesnandamp;#39;t seem to be bothered with other animals and loves to play with little soft toys. I donandamp;#39;t anticipate her to get much bigger so she is the perfect family size dog in my opinionandlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;Also important to note&#44 my daughter who has ADHD and is very loud&#44 random&#44 energetic/hyper loves her and she definitely passed the patient dog test ?? andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;She will be spayed before adopting out and is already micro chipped and vaccinated. Story
We're at a serious crossroads trying to have our foster dog re-homed with our adult son. Hercules is a 2 1/2 -3 year old male Shar-Pei whom we adopted at a Bar about 3 months ago. We found out he was their "bar dog", in essence, no one's dog. So we took him hoping that he'd get along with our 4 other dogs, it didn't work. So, our adult son took him in for us. Quickly we found out being alone for a few years, he wasn't used to being confined in a yard or home. Then began his efforts to get out and roam free (I guess), but eventually he never left.. Then he began tearing up things in his house and yard. We vaccinated and neutered him, and gave him sedatives to control his separation anxiety. He initially got along with our G-Kids, but has recently snarled and barked at them at times. We're fearful he may, may bite them, and then it'd get worse. If he doesn't adjust or calm down, for fear of him getting mean, we may have to put him down if we can't re-home him

Hello gentle people!My name is Grace! I'm not sure why my last family abandoned me, and I was very scared and nervous when I started living at Safe Haven with a lot of other doggies. The people here say that I was "emaciated" when I got here, but they say I look gorgeous now! I know it sure feels great to get fed breakfast and dinner EVERY SINGLE DAY! The doggy doctor thinks I was born around 5/27/2020 and that I am a Boxer/Boston terrier mixed breed. I just adore all the friends I have made here at the sanctuary, the doctor's office, and the Safe Haven Thrift Store. The Safe Haven people say that they named me Grace because my last family didn't treat me very nicely but I am still very friendly and show "grace" to the new humans in my life. Can I show YOU my "Grace"?Lots of love and licks,"Amazing Grace"Note from Safe Haven: we believe Grace had a rough life before coming to us. She will most likely take a little while to settle into a new home. It will be best for Grace if she is the only pet in a household with no children. Grace has learned many tricks and manners since coming to our sanctuary, and she is looking for patient people to teach her all about household living.
