We at All Paws Matter believe in the benefits of post-adoption training for our dogs and their families. This allows for continued socialization, learning and helps to create a well-mannered and balanced dog. This is now a requirement in our adoption process. Proof of training classes for puppies specifically is required before adoption. NAME: Lila Age: 5 years old Breed: Mexi-Mix Sex: Female Weight: Approx 35 - 40 lbs Location: Ottawa area Adoption fee: $600.00 Spayed/Neutered: Yes Leash trained: Work in progress House trained: Yes Kids/Cats/Dogs: Yes, dogs, cats unknown, children 6+ Vetting: Up to date on all vaccination, sterilized, microchipped, 4dx tested: negative for Heart worm. Currently on flea/tick/heart worm prevention, dewormed and vet checked before arriving. Medical Issues: Had TVT (cured) vision impaired Comes with 4 weeks free pet insurance (after initial vet visit) Our lovely Shar Pei Lila has been through much abuse in her short life. She is now safe with us and deserves to live like a queen. Lila is a little bit sweet a little bit mischievous!! This is how we describe our little 35 lb wrinkly blond instigator! - Lila is housetrained - doesn't like crates but can be left alone ( just don't leave out toilet paper or pencils ) - Lila travels well - Lila loves people of all sizes but gets the zoomies regularly so little babies will get knocked over or stepped on. - Lila is good with dogs but is high energy play so your dog would need to like this too. - Lila will chase cats...no clue what to do once she catches them but LOVES to tease them. - Lila is a chewer of toilet paper and pencils if she finds some she does not hesitate to chew apart! - Once Lila trusts you she likes to be with you..she will cry and pace a bit when you leave but settles quickly. - Lila is active and loves to play, she can relax too but LOVES a good run and romp. - Lila gets excited on leash...everything for her needs to be investigated and checked out...this little firecracker has very little fears!! - Lila is lovley, charming and quirky. She is a head turner because of how adorable she is but has quite the character!!! So all in all this little lovely little lady with great big personality is very ready to move on to bigger and more exciting things...her foster family loves and adores her and prays she finds her own very perfect match!! He’s definitely a loving playful dog and would benefit from lots of activities outdoors. He needs an active person or family to keep him busy. He has not been tested around cats or young children. So in his new home he will need teenagers or older as he loves to jump up and can be super goofy so would definitely knock over young kids. He currently has some hot spots and thus, has some sensitive skin. No known food allergies. He would love a Kong stuffed with treats or peanut butter that he has to work on :) a slow feeder bowl would also stimulate this boy! My journey began at the city shelter when I was just a 2-week-old baby, accompanied by my loving Mom and seven siblings. We're a charming bunch! While one of my seven siblings found a happy home through fostering, my other siblings and I are still at the city shelter, facing the risk of euthanasia. Each one of us embodies a friendly, funny, and endearing spirit. I'm a social butterfly, adoring people so much. I allow strangers to touch or hug me. I'm a very nice, innocent soul. And I'm an extreme toy lover. If I have a toy I like, I go to the corner alone and play with it quietly without my friends knowing. I grew up in a shelter as a baby, so I have less experience.
