Story
Hi my name is Nina! I’m without doubt the sweetest dog you will ever meet. I am a 8 year old bull terrier mix. The beginning years of my life were filled with hardship and turmoil but I am still so dedicated to turn it around and become my best self. I am friendly and easy going with every living thing, I’ve lived with kids, cats, dogs etc and never had any issues. I definitely would love to have a confident dog in my new home to snuggle and play with. Because of my unstable past, I have some insecurities being left home alone. Luckily my foster mom is a trainer and together we are making great strides in my confidence and ability to be alone. I continue to impress her everyday. As long as I have my exercise needs met and a little structure, I am essentially the perfect dog. I listen to commands and never do anything inherently naughty. My ideal life will be filled with dog friends, long hikes and endless snuggles. If you are willing to take a chance on me, I promise you I will be worth it.Nina is looking for an active family who can keep up with her energy and give her the love and structure she needs to shine. Her adoption fee is $200, and she comes spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. We'd like to introduce Judy, an 8 year-old Bulldog who's all about her people and getting lots of pets! This sweet soul loves nothing more than lounging around and soaking up affection from her human companions. Judy is quite settled in her ways, which mostly include napping, tummy rubs, chin scratches and some more napping as she enjoys the simple pleasures in life. She seems to prefer people over dogs, and is generally better around small dogs. Cats are unknown. This love muffin will always be there to greet you when you come home. She gets excited when meeting new people so there is a possibility that she could knock over smaller children with her enthusiasm. She enjoys a leisurely stroll around the block but usually just once a day. Judy is house trained and she'll let you know she needs to go out by standing by the door. This cutie pie does have some food allergies to potatoes and rice, but is doing well on a limited ingredient dog food and is currently on Apoquel for a bit of itchy skin. If you're looking for a loyal, low-key companion who will be happy to relax by your side and enjoy some quality cuddle time, Judy is your girl! Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-served basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. Story
Sawyer is a “Pocket Bully” born in September 2018 with a cleft lip, cleft palate, and spina bifida. He is currently eating and drinking safely on his own and we don’t believe his cleft lip/palate will require any surgical intervention. Sawyer will always need a little extra supervision to make sure he doesn’t eat anything dangerous for him, and will never be able to safely eat wet or goopy foods like canned food, peanut butter, yogurt, or any other liquids other than water. But otherwise he is expected to live a long, healthy life. The spina bifida causes Sawyer to be incontinent and to have some weakness in his back legs. He can walk and get around very well, but he will be in diapers for the rest of his life. He is a very happy, spunky pup and is friendly with humans and other dogs. He needs a committed home willing to give him the extra care he needs to thrive. Sawyer has been neutered, is current on vaccinations, has tested negative for heartworm and is also micro chipped.
