Hi, I'm Boulder, a robust and loving brown Pit bull. At 6 years young, I'm a big boy, weighing 97 pounds, but don't let my size fool you—I'm just a gentle giant. I'm neutered and all my shots are up to date, so I'm as healthy as can be. I'm a pro when it comes to house manners and walking on a leash, and I adore people of all ages. I'm the kind of guy who is content to be your shadow, lounging by your side, but I also love to stretch my legs with long walks and a good roll in the grass. My eyes will tell you stories, and my main goal is to make you happy. I enjoy family time, but I'm also independent enough to be fine on my own. Winter's been good to me—I've enjoyed it with a bit of bulking up and lazing about, thanks to my love for peanut butter sandwiches and other snacks. But I am working on slimming back down to my summer body. If you're looking for a loyal companion for walks, picnics, or just some cozy snuggles, look no further. I'm fostered in Sanford, NC, but I'm ready to find my forever home with you. I promise to be the teddy bear you've always wanted!

Rainee  is a 3 mth shatpei Lab Mix girl who came to rescue after being abandoned in a field. She has her first vaccines, deworming, microchipped and is on mthly flea/hw prevention. She is  doing great with crate training. Rainee  loves to play in water and play with other dogs. I'm new here at the shelter, but I'm already winning everyone over with my big smile and chunky physique. They say I might be a boxer or bulldog mix, but who knows? All I know is that I love snacks and I'm very food motivated! I really loved these things called pup cups the volunteers let me try recently. I'm a friendly girl who loves attention and I would love to find a forever family to call my own. I'm forever happy and my tail is non-stop wagging with my boundless excitement! I haven't yet been dog-tested, so the shelter isn't sure if I want to play with other pups, but they'll update you all when they do!
