WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Reagan - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Hiya, world! My name is Reagan. I had a pretty ruff start to my life, but am ready for a person of my own. I was seized with over 80 other doodle dogs from a cruelty seizure/hoarding house on the boarder of Mexico and TX. All of the dogs taken from the house had never even seen grass before! While I am still working on trusting humans, I love my doggy friends! I definitely get confidence from having other human centric animals around me. Only open to one fur family friend in your life? No problem! I am very food motivated and will learn to trust you in no time with some tasty chicken snacks! I will need a very patient adopter that will give me time to decompress. I promise I am worth it though! I have come so far in such a short amount of time, I am improving daily with my socialization and interactions with hoomans. Story
Maxine is a 4 1/2 year old sheepadoodle. We got her in May of 2020 from her original breeder. She needed to be placed quickly as her breeder was having health issues. She is a very smart, willing to please dog who needs to be in a home with no other dogs, and with someone who can give her the attention she needs to become an excellent companion. It is a very difficult decision to rehome Maxine, but I am doing this for several reasons. First I am traveling a lot and just do not have the time to work with her as I should. Secondly, she and our other dog are increasingly fighting. While our two dogs have never bonded with each other, resource guarding has become worse and worse with Maxine. As I mentioned I am not able to spend the time I should with her to work on this issue. Maxine is a beautiful doodle with so much potential. We are really hoping to find her a forever home in which she can be loved and attended to as she deserves.
