Amora! This adorable poodle mix is the one and only Amora. Amora is a medium sized mix (sheepadoodle is our best guess and also the one we have the most fun saying, so we are just rolling with that). As with any poodle mix we cannot promise any level of lower allergen nor lessened or non shedding. Amora is approx 5 years old and joined us as a retired breeder from a commercial breeding farm. As such she is initially shy with new people and situations, but does warm up fairly quickly. She is good with other dogs, learning crate training. She will need work with housebreaking and normal dog skills like walking on a leash. She did great for being groomed and is just an overall sweet girl who would love some patient people to love her. Amora is up to date on vet care including vaccinations. She has had bloodwork done and tested negative for heartworm and tick borne diseases. Her adoption fee also includes her spay and microchipping. She is up to date on preventatives. Interested? You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. BERNIE is currently on transport and due to arrive at the rescue on Saturday, 15th March. We are happily accepting applications. Updated photo's and videos will be posted when he has arrived and we have had time to update his profile. BERNIE was saved from a high kill shelter in Texas and and    arrived at Give a Dog a Home Rescue in Sebec, Maine on Saturday 15th March. We post our available dogs in states across the east coast and Canada to reach as many people as possible in hopes to find perfect homes and families. We do not transport dogs, families must come to the rescue in Sebec, Maine to meet and then hopefully take home. BERNIE is neutered, rabies, core vaccines, heartworm and tick tested negative, is on monthly preventatives, microchipped, and in March 2025 weighed 65 pounds and has an estimated date of birth of August 2023.    We can not say for sure what the breed is, we expect families to decide looking at any pictures and video's provide and decide if the breed is a good fit for their family. BERNIE along with 3 other OES were surrendered to the shelter in poor condition. They have since been shaved down. It is important for any family interested to be aware of the HIGH grooming needs of this breed of dog. We are looking for families that have the lifestyle that the dog needs to lead a healthy, both mentally and physically life, who can afford a GOOD quality food, toys and treats and understand the importance of veterinary wellness checks. BERNIE is available for adoption for an adoption fee of $550, as noted he is located at the rescue in Sebec, Maine and families are required to complete and submit an  adoption application and when approved schedule an appointment to come to the rescue to meet and hopefully take home this sweet boy. Applications are processed with 24 hours of them being received. Bronson is a stunning young pup with a one-of-a-kind brindle coat—he must have gotten those gorgeous markings from his dad! His mom was a mix of Standard Poodle and Airedale, giving him a slightly rough coat, soulful eyes, and a sharp mind to match his good looks. This smart boy was born around Oct.1, 2024 and  is already making great progress with crate and potty training, thanks to his foster mom’s dedication. He’s highly intelligent and eager to learn, especially when treats and toys are involved! Bronson has already mastered “sit” and is well on his way to being a well-mannered companion. Friendly and affectionate, Bronson gets along wonderfully with kids, cats, and other dogs. If you're looking for a loyal, loving, and trainable pup, Bronson is ready to be your new best friend! &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143. This boy is what is just going to be a sixty to seventy pound handsome adult. Brandon is a handsome 5 month old bundle of love with a stunning brindle coat that he must have inherited from his dad! His mom was a unique mix of half Standard Poodle and half Airedale, so Brandon is destined to grow into a big, lovable boy that could weigh 60 pounds. With his lovingly sweet personality, Brandon is the total puppy package! His foster mom has been working hard on his crate training and potty training, and he’s already mastered “sit.” He’s great with kids, cats, and other dogs, making him a perfect fit for just about any type of family.  Brandon would love an active family that could provide him a fenced yard where Brandon can safely play. He would also embrace having  another canine companion in the family or active children or family members that will take him for good walks, jogs and a life filled with fun adventures.
