Story
**Meet Bonnie: Your Energetic and Loving Companion!** Are you ready to welcome an intelligent and friendly furry friend into your life? Look no further than Bonnie, a delightful, approximately 3-year-old Standard Poodle with a heart full of love and a zest for life! Originally acquired to be a service dog, Bonnie discovered that her true passion lies in connecting with people and other animals. She’s incredibly friendly and loves to "go say hi" to everyone she meets, making her a social butterfly wherever she goes. Bonnie has a special interest in meeting children, and her gentle nature makes her a wonderful companion for families. Bonnie is exceptionally smart and eager to please, thriving on training, games, and puzzles. She consistently responds to commands like "sit," "come," and "stay," and her food motivation makes her a quick learner. She’s also very responsive to praise and correction, making training sessions a joy. Bonnie loves belly rubs and lounging with her human friends. She’s a fan of crate time and would likely enjoy participating in dog sports due to her medium to medium-high energy levels. She enjoys medium to long walks and would love a home where she can run around and play. Bonnie has a few quirks that make her even more endearing. She thinks every cat is a potential friend, although she might try to chase if they run away. She’s like a little mountain goat, often found perched on window sills to get a good view outside. Bonnie does well with friendly, well-mannered dogs but can be unsure around new canine faces. She’s best suited to a home with someone experienced in managing anxious dogs, where she can spend most of her time with her beloved humans. Easy to groom and full of fun, Bonnie has a special way of asking for attention by resting her head on your thigh—a gentle reminder that she’s always ready for some love and affection. If you’re looking for a loyal, intelligent, and loving companion, Bonnie is the perfect match for you. Come meet her and see how quickly she’ll steal your heart! Story
We have a transport trip we are personally taking our dogs on leaving from SoCal to PA and all surrounding states. We would love to add Bella to our trip for the right family! Travel costs will be in addition to her adoption fee to help aleviate the total travel costs in coming all the way to the east coast and back. Meet Bella! She is a 2 year old chocolate labradoodle. Yes, she has the hypoallergenic poodle coat so she does NOT shed. She weighs aprox 50 ish lbs. She is more on the short and stout size of a doodle; and not very tall. She is not overweight, just a very sturdy and healthy size ❤️ She is set to be spayed on 8/20/24 and once I have her exact weight I'll update it here. She is going to be spayed, current on vaccines, microchipped, thourely examined, and cleared by my vet prior to adoption. Anything she needs, such as a dental, ear cleaning, etc. will get done prior to our vet releasing her. She is house trained, and will go outside to use the restroom as needed throughout the day when asked to. She is crate trained, and only goes in the crate to nap in during the day (by choice) or if we step out of the home and leave her unaccompanied. She however; sleeps on a dog bed at night in our room which she loves. She also has dog beds throughout the home she uses during the day. She is very well behaved in the home, as to why she has the choice to do as she pleases ♥️ She is your FUN loving, WATER obsessed, BALL retrieving doodle! She LOVES to swim, and takes laps daily in the pool. She LOVES to play fetch, and will bring back the ball every single time. She LOVES her soft plush toys too, and tries REALLY hard to not defluff them but sometimes curiousity gets the best of her and she has to investigate the squeaky noise coming from inside 🙃 She has a very high spirited, confident, and outgoing personality. She is good with all dogs here, but is definitely more of a confident female, and is assertive with other dogs when she feels she needs to be, but for the most part, she coexists with them beautifully. She loves playing with other dogs, she just wants them to match her energy, or if they don't just to not get in the way of her fun 😂 She would be totally fine being the only dog in her next home, esp. if she has her person/family as a replacement. While she is ALOT of fun, she does have a wonderful off switch, and will lounge around the house if you are busy and unable to engage with her. She is wildly independent at times too, which allows you to be able to go about your day freely, although she may join just to keep you company and grace you with her presence ☺️ She Is great on road trips. Wonderful at our groomers. And is an all around amazing gal ❤️❤️ She is NOT a barker, but will alert you of unfamiliar noises. She is NOT a chewer, so you don't have to worry about any puppy phase with her at her age. If you are looking for a friend to keep your days full of fun, love, laughter, and joy then Bella is your girl! Her adoption fee will be updated on website at breadoflifek9refuge.org. It will cover her spay, vaccines, microchip and registration, exam with our vet, time, care, grooming costs; and training since with us. If anything in addition to her spay is needed such as a dental cleaning, extractions, in-heat spay, etc. then there will be extra costs added to help offset the total expense. She will be 100 percent vetted; and cleared by our vet in the end and all medical records will go home with her.

Story
I have a four year old Standard poodle named Annie me and my fiancé love her to death. She is such a sweet dog unfortunately we are looking for somewhere to rehome her because we have a newborn baby on the way in late, August. She is a larger poodle and she requires attention I will not be able to give her once the baby is born. We also live in apartment in the city of Philadelphia where she does not have this space I feel is appropriate for her. She is spayed and up-to-date on all of her shots. She is potty trained, gets along well with other pets and kids ! Once again, we love her, but with the baby on the way, I don’t think We will be able to give her the attention & time she needs. We want to make sure she goes to a good and safe home. She was my grandmother‘s dog that we took in. She is super friendly, loves to cuddle, very energetic and overall a very good girl.
