German Pit Bull puppies and dogs in St Louis Park, Minnesota

We adopted Willie from Fur Forever Animal Rescue when he was 3.5 months old. He is currently 1 year and 3 months old and he is the love of our lives. We have to rehome him as he has not been getting along with our 9 year old Female Lab Mix. He is genuinely the nicest dog we've ever met when it comes to people. He is such a cuddle bug and loves being close to his people. He loves sitting in our laps, receiving pets, and sleeping under the covers with us in bed. In January 2024, we paid and sent him to a 2 month board and train at Dokken's Oak Ridge Kennels for basic obedience training. He is trained to an E-collar and wear it 75% of the time at home. As far as leash training goes- he does try and walk in front of you and pull, all out of excitement. He did learn to heel at the board and train, but it did not translate all that well when we brought him home. Willie needs a home with loving people who have a fenced in yard and where he is the only animal in the house.

Hi I'm Peggy!  I'm a gorgeous lady on the lookout for the perfect family.  I'm a loving girl with my family and I'm always ready for belly rubs, booty scratches and hugs and kisses.  I love to go on walks, but if I smell something interesting I've been known to pull so I can go investigate.  Sorry not sorry haha!  In my foster home I enjoy curling up in front of the fire on my blankie and chewing on bones.  Bones are the best!  I also enjoy car rides.  My foster mama lets me tag along with her and I quietly chew on bones while she runs into the store for a minute.  I'm potty and kennel trained.  I like kids, but sometimes I get a little too excited and might knock down little ones.  I'm not very good with dogs so I'd prefer to be the only princess in my new home.  This applies to kitties and those squirrels outside too.  It's my yard and they need to know they aren't allowed!  When I came into rescue I had a belly full of babies.  I raised them and then it was my turn to go to the vet to make sure I was forever done being a mama.  I had a couple lumps that were removed at the time and they were found to be cancerous.  The doctor says they got good margins and I can now find my happily ever after and hope that I don’t develop anymore pesky lumps.   Please  note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders.  Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared. I am a gorgeous, sweet, and very kind albeit shy adult female German Shepherd. Truth be told, I am afraid of pretty much everything in this enormous world from commotion to loud noises like thunderstorms so a fenced yard is a must. Additionally, I am looking for a VERY special fur-ever family who is lovingly patient and will NEVER give up on me! I have not met any cats or kids, but I am good with other dogs and will need another large dog who will help me feel comfortable and secure! I don’t play much but I’m a smart girl who knows what “go potty” means and I’m potty & leash trained. As for the kennel/crate, foster mom doesn’t put me in that cave because I am an amazingly good girl who simply lays in her bedroom, she can even shut the door if she wants to because I feel safe in there.
