If you're looking for a high energy pup, look no further! Janice is ready to run, run, run! She likes toys and treats. She's a friendly gal ready for lots of adventures! I am on the Priority Paws list. This means that I am struggling with severe kennel stress that is impacting my quality of life. I need to move into a foster home or adoptive home as soon as possible. Here's what volunteers had to say after spending time with Janice: If you're looking for a dog that will make you laugh, Janice is your gal. Just give her a squeaky toy and let the fun begin. She absolutely loves toys! She's happy to play by herself but is more than willing to include you in the fun. She would love to have a yard where she can play and explore. She also really likes treats, which will make teaching her new tricks much easier.

Story
Roland is a happy guy! He loves to explore his surroundings and keep that nose to the ground. He seems to be more into toys than treats, but the concept of bringing the toy back doesn't always click. He's ready for adventure! Volunteers say "Roland is a fun loving, bold, and cuddly guy. He warmed up immediately and hopped in my car without hesitation. We walked around my block, hung out at home, got a pup cup, and watched my daughter's lacrosse game at Cosmo park together. He really enjoyed playing tug and being a lap dog. He was uninterested in his pup cup but liked dog treats. I could see him being a great companion for any active person who wants a friend. He is an affectionate, silly, and opinionated dog who was a pleasure to be around." "I took Roland to go get a pup cup, he was GREAT in the car, very calm, didn't even want to stick his head out the window. Then we went to the campus of Mizzou and walked around. He was pretty strong on the leash, I would maybe recommend a harness instead of a collar. He was very friendly and wanted to greet everyone on the walk. When he would great people he wanted to jump and lick, very kind but he would get very excited very quickly and would need a few minutes to chill out." "Roland and I went to play fetch and hang out at a park, and then went back to my house to hang out with my roommates and play some more in the yard. Roland was very excited and had a lot of energy, he loved to run around and play fetch, he would definitely be well suited for someone with an active lifestyle and a good size yard. He is also very sweet and loved to be meet new people, so a social person would also be a good fit." "Roland and I got a pup cup, explored Stephens trail, and went shopping at Lowe's. He also got to run in a fenced in back yard. I don't think he had any issues besides wanting to play with dogs we passed. He was really such a good boy, he could do a sit command and would come when you called for him. We weren't around any kids but I can't think of any problems he would have with any families! He was also very well behaved when passing other dogs and people while we walked." "I took Roland for a short walk around my neighborhood, before we found a shady tree to sit under. He did well on the leash, only pulling a bit to sniff around. He was very curious, and wanted to explore. He was friendly to everyone who passed us, he jumped a bit at first but quickly calmed down. He loved playing with all of his toys! Next, we went back to my apartment for a bit. He was very sweet and cuddled with me as I read." "Today Roland and I took a short walk on the Grindstone Trail. He was very curious during our walk! He wanted to smell and look at everything. He was very strong on the leash at first, but quickly relaxed for the rest of the walk. He was very excited to meet others that passed us, and was very friendly with everyone! After our walk we got a pup cup, and he did great the entire car ride. He hopped right into my car and sat calmly, or laid down the entire ride."

Story
Radissche is a shy gal. The quickest way to her heart is with a squeaky toy! She just loves to play fetch. Her ideal home will be a more mature one until she can settle in and feel a bit more comfortable. She is quite energetic! I am on the Priority Paws list. This means that I am struggling with severe kennel stress that is impacting my quality of life. I need to move into a foster home or adoptive home as soon as possible. Volunteers say ""Radissche was a great walker today. It was hot out, and she took every opportunity to laze happily and roll around in puddles and other interesting substances. She can sit, lay down, was interested in treats, and took them gently." "This was my first DDO with Radissche though I've walked her 2 or 3 times previously. She has been really stressed out in the shelter, so we started with a peaceful walk/sniff then went and hung out at home. She loved playing fetch and tug with a squeaky toy and is playful and energetic for her age. She motioned toward the door and waited for me to take her out when she needed to pee. She was a little bit timid of my partner but warmed up to all members in the home with time (teenagers and adults). Radissche encountered small children, teens, bicyclists, roller skaters etc while out and she had no issues, though there was a cat that she wanted to chase. Radissche is such a sweet, fun, adventurous, and cozy girl. Please give her a chance, her whole personality blossoms when she's comfortable." "She's very sweet to people she knows, doesn't bother people who don't bother her. She's up for any kind of hike, likes being out and about, loves car rides, is affectionate and loyal to her friends."
